Speaking of warped... Paramount had how long? CF has had how long? The changes so far have been encouraging. I may not agree with depositing extra money into a ride that does not deserve it, but at least CF had the testicular fortitude to pull the trigger and get the ride operating. They did what they had to do. And that was in only in their FIRST year under heavy financial demands. So, in comparison, the future is that much more brighter with CF.

I have never been in Timberwolf for a concert, so I really have no way of knowing. So my opinion, well it sucks. Perhaps the screaming from the rides in Action Zone would echo into the Ampitheatre. But shutting down AE and FH? It seems shutting those rides down would be a stretch.

First, perhaps a better way of explaining that you believe Beast is the best coaster, is simply stating that "It is the best coaster I have been on at night, so far". Amazingly enough, there are many other great coasters outside of Ohio. And Voyage is not a hybrid, it is a wooden coaster, with steel supports.

^ It is easy to remember something that is now gone. Especially since what replaced it... well, let's just say it's not the worst ride in the park. It needs to actually operate to be considered a ride.

I would like to see the numbers for that one. Especially since Racer has double the capacity against any ride at any time.

This is a concert, not a church service. I have a difficult time hearing the person next to me at a concert, so hearing a ride make noise 100' behind me is a non factor. Now throw in rides in like Firehawk and AE being closed and it just doesn't add up. Why would those rides have negatively affected the concert due to noise?

Well, she is in deep doo doo. It is too bad that people feel they have to go to this level to make themselves a better life. I sincerely hope that if she has a family, that they are affected as little as possible.

I question why those rides have to be shutdown. What if there was a family at the park for their one day trip per year? I would be rather upset.

Here we go again with The Vortex & Top Gun are being removed rumors again. Neither ride is going anywhere, anytime soon. There are many more rides in the park that would come down before TG or Vortex; but don't confuse my comment with thinking that rides should come down. Both rides have a rather good uptime percentage. And both rides have their specific place in the park. IMO, it really sucks when any park feels the need to take a ride down. Sure, the parks have excellent reasons for making the decision for the ride removal, but I just really hate not only to see a good ride come down, but all the memories that the ride has given over the years get bulldozed over. Yeah call me a sentimental fool...

I can agree with taking a ride out for high maintenance/ operation costs, and to a lesser degree, low ridership. It makes sense. Why put money into a ride that guests don't want to be on? (insert SoB joke here) I can't see on how thrilling a ride is has anything to do with their removal. There are many ride that are just plain fun, that have no thrills at all (i.e. bumper cars, pirate ships, swings etc.)

Well if you want to take that avenue, and since most of the population of the planet Earth dislikes SoB... If you like SoB keep it to yourself, most people find SoB as a terrible ride.

From a ride operation, "is it running, or isn't it and why", yeah you are correct. But even mentioning that the ride is having technical difficulties is still a little information that can easily be followed by requests. But as I am looking at: "What is the lesser of two evils." 1) Giving no indication as to why a policy has changed, thus leaving the guest confused and upset. -or- 2) Mentioning that there was an incident at another park, and the height requirement has been changed as a safety precaution. Not mentioning anything and just telling the guest nothing is rather poor customer service. Much like when a guest will go to customer service with a complaint, and the representative will not even try and smooth the situation over by apologizing for the guests' trouble.

Obviously going into that much detail is absured. Nobody wants to hear about a fatality. But just saying that there was an incident at another park and a determination was made to increase the height limit as a safety precaution would be fine. Again a little information.

Why would you want to tape something like that? Ok, someone had an accident. But taping it? That is just plain nasty. I have never got sick on a ride, but one time, it was close. In not so many words; my wife will go on Chaos, while I sip a frosty beverage from the park bench. The ride looks much better from there.
