No offense Fusiondude, but if you have to have a certain seat on a train, (like the middle seat of a car), just to get a smooth ride, the coaster has some major issues. You usually hear people talk about where to sit to get the most air, or the fastest seat, typically the smoothest is not a topic of discussion, unless it is SoB. I feel that this ride is just like The Bat, a good ride with way too many problems, and these problems are costing the park big $$. Not necessarily downtime, but it has been retracked numerous times, and it has not helped. The Bat was a great ride, but the downtime and cost killed it. Vortex was put in it's place and has done a tremendous job, it may be about time that PKI does the same thing with SoB.

If you are so "laid back to care", why even comment at all? Leave it alone.

OK, this is for everyone. A person's opinions/ feelings regarding race/religion/or sexual preference should be respected.

I first rode The Beast in '79 when I was 6. Even though my first coaster was the Sooper Dooper Looper @ Hershey, when I was 3 1/2, The Beast has always been on the top of my list just because I remember standing in line for 4 hours to ride it (the line stretched to the Eiffel Tower), and my parents cheated to get me on (see my sig), and I can remember that at the time it was the most intense feeling that I ever had.

OK, for all to know- the Dippin' Dots guy is a fictional person that spreads insane rumors about ANY park. It is like having a troll post on these boards. Purely meant to be humorous.

Is this necessary? The thread was not started to create harassment to someone that has a different view. I may not agree with their choice of a partner, but it ends there.

I live in Erie, PA. My wife and I have had season passes to PKI and CP for 5 years now. It is very convenient that my uncle lives about 20 minutes from PKI so we make the trip at least 3 times a year. I also checked MapBlast, DollyWood is 10 hours from Erie, not 14 like I thought.

When he does argue, just tell him to check out ThunderHead at Dollywood. Even though I have not been on it, the pics/ videos/ and comments have ALL been praising this new coaster. I may just take the 14 hour trip to check it out!

PT first opened in 1992, and it's last year of operating was in 2002. PT was an original, where as various forms of Scooby are at other parks, and the concept of an interactive ride (like Scooby) has been around since 2000. ...and there is no Helga!

Given the right weather conditions, ANY coaster is capable of having a rollback. And it is not that big of an issue. The SoB rollback is making a mountain out of a molehill, and why it has been such an issue on other sites is really mind-boggling. It just goes to show you that not all kids can play in the same sandbox.

It is too bad some "others" assume "conspiracy theory" is always running rampant. I saw the other site just to see what others had said, and it is too bad that when a contribution is made, it is pis :censored: on, just because it was not seen with their own eyes. Nice pics though! :offtopic: Kudos to the staff of PKI Central for not running their site with bias for people's opinions and ramming their own down our throat. You guys are doing a great job!
