I cannot put into words the terrible gut feeling I had after reading the topic title. I really prepared myself for really bad news, something depressing, or, at a minimum, something very sad on the same scale of a pet goldfish dying. Then the RUSH feeling of relief came over me after seeing what it was all about.

You would be surprised what people will complain about. -Brown- who remembers some KIC members, pre-CF, complaining about just discussing having a 200'+ coaster in the park because how it would "pierce the sky" & ruin the skyline.

But your mother-in-law will certainly criticize the TV over the front door.....

One day it will, please see International Street, Boomerang Bay, and other KI areas. It should be noted that WaterWorks was the original water park later changed to Boomerang Bay.

Too many people do not put things into perspective. Do the math. The cost of a KI season pass, that includes parking. Then divide the cost vs. the amount if hours spent at the park. My cost for the whole family is less than $1/ hr. Where else can you get out of the house for that value? You can even go deeper. Figure out how many times you have visited the park, then multiply the ticket & parking cost. Now compare that value to the cost of your pass.

I have purchased some expensive things on EBay. For instance, I recently bought the 1981 Hallmark Rocking Horse Christmas Ornament. My parents thought I was crazy. My wife & I wanted to complete the set. I have also purchased Wrestlemania tickets on EBay as well as a beta tape of Beast's first run in 1979 (that can now be seen on YouTube) But, $125 for a polo shirt just because it has an emblem for a failed coaster is certifiable.

I wonder how many here even know what "Towering Inferno" is. It's not that they cannot be "rescued", but that they cannot be rescued in a reasonable amount of time. That begs the question, what is a reasonable amount of time? I personally believe 1 hour is a good watermark. Anything over is way too long.

The article also states "312 miles of track now lie in twisted heaps", which we know not to be true.....
