  1. Joni Mitchell What recent movie was this song in?
  2. Once upon a simpler time, people did not need to have a carry-on bag full of "necessities" with them at all times. Sunglasses were stored in your tube sock on one side, and the other- your smokes & lighter.
  3. If the walk from the main lot to SC is too great a distance, choosing to go to any park, where most of the day will be spent walking, may not be the best choice.
  4. ^ Or park in the main lot, walk to SC, then take the train back to the main park till close.
  5. ^ Use the train.
  6. Nothing is ever truly free, even SC admission.
  7. Was the park packed?
  8. ^^^ You are absolutely right, but twins get away with this sort of thing all the time. They could easily have the twin with the different name use the card, swap the card to the real card owner, and when the alarm sounds after being used a 2nd time, the real owner could easily pull out their ID to verify the ownership. Due to their age/ inexperience, as well as twins always pulling of this type of scam, most associates would not think twice about bypassing the alarm. This does bring up a new scam for FastPass: one parent will pay for FastPass, get in line, use the Parent Swap Program, and the other parent then walks up the exit and jumps on the ride.
  9. I hate it when he does this on 71......
  10. The SC upgrades have been FANTASTIC. My family could not be more pleased, especially the choice of a tubeless wave pool vs. the enjoyment of riding a tube.
  11. 300+ miles for me, but I don't complain. Traveling long distances to numerous parks has opened my eyes to various things many do not know about. It also lets me relive one of my favorite movies, everytime:
  12. I found this site during a similar discussion last year concerning the same unfortunate set of circumstances: http://securacoinloc.../coin-sizes.php http://www.KICentral...lockers__st__30
  13. ^ I suggest a locker next time.
  14. What an unfortunate turn of events for the deserted park. With any luck, the fair board will see the writing on the wall (although, I'm not willing to hold my breath)- if a family with a history of successful business ventures in family entertainment is unwilling to sign a deal, the possibilities of others doing the same is very slim. With all the pre-contract commentary from Mr. Hart, I'm surprised he is not talking now.
  15. They throw them away because no one is near them and they are trash at that point. And because there's money to be made when replacements are made. I have no doubt the ulterior motive is not money, yet simply removing trash to make the park look clean. The cost of the 1,000,000+ garbage cans in a 100' radius signifies that. Seriously, it is not a healthy decision to leave any drinking containers unattended and any place. There are some sick people out there.
  16. ^^ Humor? By golly, what is that??
  17. Too bad only one of you is SBNO. Really? Isn't this more than a little harsh and at least borderline cyber-bullying? I'm not saying that what Mccarthy said is true or not true but there's no need to attack in such a manner. Yes, really. If someone is willing to make outragous claims, back it up, or be prepared for criticism. If criticism is now considered "cyber bullying" I am most certainly gulity. If you consider using a enthuiast term, on an enthusiast site, "cyber bullying" I am also guilty. And finally, if you consider that to be bullying, life in the real World will certainly come as quite a shock to you. -Brown whose community status update on KIC profile page has been SBNO since March 19, 2010.
  18. Too bad only one of you is SBNO.
  19. "No decision has been made." Sounds familiar.
  20. How about you forward me that e-mail. browntggrr@aol.com
  21. This opens the door for: what is considered a small child. 8? 9? 12? Parents always believe (I am gulity of this as well) "my child will not do that". Much like: "my pit bull is tame". When something happens (with kids, the door for everything is open) the most common phrase is: "Where were the parents?" Hindsight is always 20/20. Sometimes crap happens. With any luck, injuries do not happen.

  23. ^ So it is safe to assume you only read the last few posts....
  24. Turns out it was 200 miles, either way... http://themeparkrevi...8407&start=4620 Just so we all know some distances: http://www.distancefromto.net/ CP to CW: 228.52 miles CP to Hershey: 325.47 miles Even if the exclusivity contract may have been true, I can't imagine it would last forever.
