Finally framed - my vintage KI souvenir map
That is really nice and brings back tons of memories.

Fast Lane
^ Did you ever use the pass at SFWoA? In 2001, they used a half sheet of paper to write down which rides FL was used on and there was no seperate line. SF has since learned what works better for their parks. CF's is still in it's infancy stage. If the program proves to be worthwhile, it would be foolish to believe positive changes would not be made.

About as logical as thinking that the more money a business makes the more money is put back into said business...the shareholders don't see it that way. CF obviously reinvests in their parks or we would never see any additions or improvements to any park. If money is limited, you would not see anything new.

^^ I believe a patent was filed for their exact system (engineering technical design etc.) preventing others from using the same intellectual property. But I don't see how another park can be prevented from offering free fast pass/ lane.

^ Is comparing one of the most sought out family vacation destinations worldwide (argueably) and a seasonal amusement park even close to being on the same level?

Fast Lane
^ I did not read it that way, but that could just be me. Forum translations..... If that is the case, it brings up other questions; i.e.-should the guest that chooses not to partake in Xtreme Skyflyer have a less positive customer service experience than one who does?

Whether I agree with FL or not, why is it a merchant's responsibility to make sure all guests have the same experience? If I have the option of paying more, I deserve more (i.e. the previously mentioned first class seating). I have not seen where KI has guaranteed the same guest experience for everyone paying for park entry. I have not seen many comments in the TR for opening weekend concerning FL. Anyone have any thoughts?

Bennett's Opening Day TR
SoB is only "collapsing" from FD, not AE. Nice TR! Other than you mentioned, any thoughts on FL?

Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom Park
I have heard the renovations/ updates are intended to compete with Universal's addition of Harry Potter. The pics/ definitions don't seem as attractive....

That and complete incompetance. There are easy ways of not burning others while partaking in a calming cancer stick.

2012 park map
I cannot believe there are complaints about color of rides. Next there will be complaints about the lack of trees... oh, wait.....

My guess is that the detector installation was blamed on 9/11, but had more to do with the racial tension- is sounds better to blame it on an issue that is known nationwide vs. issues that happened in KI's backyard. Especially since the detectors were installed in 2003, and 9/11 was in 2001. The timing does not add up.

^ KD had detectors on my trip in in '98 that were installed in the mid 90's & Canada's Wonderland had detectors installed after a shooting in 2003.

Speculation about Cedar Point for 2013
I can remember as a young enthusiast, 22 years ago, thinking: Why would anyone want to fly to Alaska?

BGW has a tram and a premium lot for twice as much. People still fill the premium lot, and end up walking further. BGW has purchased new electric trams like KI would have to? I did not know that.

What`s next for Son of Beast?
Silly me. I always believed only SoB, the ride, should be sponsored by Aleve.

Speculation about Cedar Point for 2013
Yes, and if DT would happen to be removed, it would leave only 3 of 16 (Jr. Gemini & Woodstock Express being the other 2) coasters for guests over 46" & under 48" to ride, thus a "hole" for those "in-between" riders, unless the rumored jr. coaster takes DT's place.

Smoking Areas
^ I agree that if they have no intention of enforcing it to drop it, but I have not seen a park employee intentionally refusing to enforce the rule and ignore the rule breaker. Accountability starts with those disregarding the rule.

Insurance, maintenance, and staffing costs also have to be considered. Combine that with losing the appeal of Premium Parking income, may halt any consideration of trams.
