FYI- according to what I have heard, HB Bon Aire section has been renovated (i.e. new walls, fixtures etc.) I would assume this also means a price increase.

I have lived in Erie, PA my entire life and there has never been a more mild winter. We have Erie Bay, which is a natural bay protected by Presque Isle (a peninsula) that always freezes (due to how shallow it is compared to Lake Erie) until this year. There was zero ice. (I also only used my snowblower twice this winter whereas I usually use it at least twice before Thanksgiving) The lake temperature never went below 32, and is currently much warmer than usual- meaning those wanting to head to CP in May will notice a warmer Point (unless the overall temperature is low). It will be intresting to see if the current warm trend continues this summer.

CNN has some graphic video of the tornado aftermath. There is video of a tractor-trailer lot that looks like a kid's Matchbox truck. I have been wondering if the abnormal warm winter would produce stronger storms this spring/ summer.

So give people a free "cool down" to promote an attraction they have to pay more for as well as get back into the heat they were trying to escape? I'm not too sure about that spin.

Many visit KI (or any amusement park) expecting rides like DB. Attractions like DA are unique, thus the extra charge. Is it right to have attractions at a park with an upcharge? That is up for debate. Do attractions like DA & movie make KI more attractive for many guests? I cannot think of a reason why they don't. The upcharge is a choice. For some, it is not worth it. For others, it is. One thing is certain; if it was not worth it for the park last year, CF would not be adding DA to other parks this year.

Meal Deals are great for vacationing families. Meh, for season pass holders. $16 for a Meal Deal for the convenience of not leaving the park for those who are a 1 or 2 day guest is not bad.

You gotta give the method to the madness for this idea.....

Even if it is a franchise restaurant located outside the main gate; I would be very happy with a traditional sit-down option, and I assume many others would be as well.

Don't fret. Once a decision is made, there will be another topic with 100 pages as to why CF gave up on SoB. I believe it is safe to say the roughness of Beast family de-rails here. C'mon give SoB it's just due. It is by far not only the biggest failure in KI's history, but argueably the biggest failure in amusement history (of course only compared to non-fatal rides, which SoB will one day be accused of).

Perhaps it is my "humor" that the pic of all the cans in front of the fountain made me laugh. "Our Dinos Cannot walk on water, but they Can walk on garbage!"

The pics of the track B & M plant cannot be for a CF park since they are green and not red.
