Anyone else up for a road trip to show those North Carolininians how to snap?

Ive wanted to go up to Travel Channel and see if they would be willing to put together a series based around what happens behind the scenes of PKI. Not just for one day, but do a week an episode. That way, they can cover the entire year, not just one day. Just a thought.

All I got to say is that the jukebox for the diner has been in play and repeat mode for a week now, and the music is pretty good for 50's music.

Ok, let me get this right: First you ***** about not getting a heavily themed ride, and then you ***** about getting one! You guys cannot be happy can you? Look at the location of the parks you are comparing PKI to, they are all Year round parks! You cant get enough revenue to actually do anything spectactuar that will cost 1 billion to make in a seasonal park! Get the hell over it!

Problem with this!!!!! If you actually look at those Truth commercials, they are a bunch of lies. I have talked to someone who has done research for the Truth commercials, and even he admitted that almost 9/10 of what they say on the commercials is false. Especially with the second hand stuff. And as for doing bodily harm, thats bull. Im sorry but if this country bans people smoking due to second hand smoke, then Im moving to Japan perminently. This country was put together with tobacco ( and corn and cotton). You take tobacco away from the US, there will be riots everywhere. I want to see COLD HARD FACTS about second hand smoking causing lung cancer. WHERE IS IT!? Oh thats right, you guys have bought what the Truth people have been spoon feeding you. Plus, Kentucky (my state) is already facing an economy problem, imagine what will happen if tobacco is banned. Now if you dont mind, Im going to go have a smoke.

Dunno. All I saw were 3 cars under protective coverings. Saw headrests and wheels. And how do we know that all 3 trains were burnt in the fire? It could have been just 1 for all we know. Or just 1 car. That, and if it was from PCW, it wouldnt have gotten here so fast.

Sorry, but I am not a big fan of this at all. When I went to HW, I hated to have to find those little spots located somewhere I didnt know, and then stand there for 5 minutes while the non-smokers were looking at that area in disgust. Its almost like saying "Sure we give you the right to smoke, but you have to do it on our terms." Comeon people! This country was made through tobacco (and cotton and corn). At least let us enjoy it where we want! Now dont go thinking Im a mean smoker and blow smoke in peoples faces. Im generally a nice smoker, unless you **** me off. I have never smoked in lines, or while surrounded by little kids or in a large, tightly packed group. All Im saying is that I can see the park taking a hit, albite small, in attendance. Tis all Oh yeah, speaking of which, as where they are going, I havent seen any special construction in 19 different areas that would look like smoking areas. I was thinking they would just use the existing paths like they already do for the beer.

Another quick update for ya: At least one train did not burn up in the fire. It arrived at PKI about 8 AM Monday.

People, PKI has been in this mess before, and nothing happened. With the current changes made into the park, both behind scenes and in front, I dont think that PKI can easily be sold off without some major naming rights going out as well.

I concur. Scooters is gone, and there is nothing you can do, so you just have to realize that you cant do a thing to bring em back, especially complain about it on a message board.

FOF is also off. After the cobra roll, there is an immelman (sp), dives back down into a camelback, then it starts its insane banking runs.

All I know is that there is no way that a good fastpass system would work on TRTR. The tunnel is too narrow, and if they were to widen it, almost all the theming in the tunnel would be ripped out.
