You see, if another park builds something taller, then PKI will probabily just say, "Congratulations. You have just wasted a lot of money on one attraction, and it will take a long time to cycle!" I just dont see PKI caring that much to extend the drop on DZ. Plus, it would be really hard to do. You would have to take the motor house off with the use of a very high crane which would probabily have to be mounted such as like in skyscraper construction, put that on the ground, install more pipe pieces, eh I will make it easy on myself, its not gonna happen.

Who says that Viacom has to pull money away from PKI to build another park? I want to know where in the article it says "All other parks will not be adding new attractions until the park is finished". Point that out to me. Thats right, it doesnt say. I dont know the exact function of how Viacom splits up money, but I would think that each park is given a budget for each year. With that budget, the parks have enough to add new attractions, do regular maintenance, and such like that. Thats why Viacom released that story, so that investors could put money in and get a cut back. The other parks will not be hurt.

Saturdays are generally bad all around. Sundays, though, are pretty dead. Last year, at least, the attendance for the last weekend were very low due to the cold weather. Just because someone gets a free ticket to go to PKI doesnt mean that they will use it. It just means that if they dont use it, then they didnt waste any money on it. So, my advice is to get to PKI about 5ish on sat, force yourself to wait in the long lines for some of the FearFest attractions (I would hit Circus of Horrors and Route 666 on sat, those normally have long lines) and leave around midnight when the park closes. Get to PKI right at rides opening (10) and stay until it closes. FearFest attractions (indoors) open at 3 and the others (outdoor) open at 8, and run until 10. Thats why I said hit the big ones on saturday. More time to wait in line.

Trust me, the trail behind Beast is really hilly, really long. It took me about 20 minutes to walk it, and about 6 cups of water to recover! Really, I would concentrate on the guests. Everyone sees pics of the rides, but seeing people with pure joy on their faces is more rewarding.

Ok, lets get this back from the legal battle to what it is supposed to be: Any Beast people remember the crazy parties that the crew is known to have? Being an adopted crewmember, I got to go to one. Man, what a crazy party. Any other thoughts on these parties? PS. I dont think anyone from The Beast crew posts on here, but speak out if you do!

Why am I expecting the ride reservation thing to be on certain rides only? I know that there were certain reasons why certain rides didnt get the line last year.

I will help everyone out on this: Roughly, the middle of the owned land of PKI is The Racers. Meaning, PKI could clone itself, and it would fill out the land behind Racer that is owned. Now side to side, I have no idea how much they own. PKI does own a total of 740 acres if I remember right.

If youre talking about me, I have never actually worked FOF. The 6 times I was sent there last year I was stuck at Zephyr unload every single time. Thanks James!

On Shockwave at PKD, a man who was INTOXICATED got onto the ride, and on his own free will, got out of the restraints and was thrown from the car. I see several problems with this. 1) shouldnt the ride ops stopped the man if he was that intoxicated? Because, if every employee remembers, if we find someone who is high/intoxicated, we can tell them they cannot ride. 2) How come the restraint wasnt very tight? I know you could move those restraints a little, but it should have been right up against his body, not loose at all. Just my thoughts.

Thetower, The problem is that those stories that you share can get you in trouble. You know that confidentiality statement in the contracts? It means till death due us part. Therefor, we cant share the stories. Would be fun though.

FearFest sucks you say? Oh well, guess I dont have to deal with ya this year anymore. Get over it. PKI tried being nice this year by making it free. So instead of being a ***** about it, suck it up. Im tired of hearing people whine about the lines. Just get over it and wait.

Malibu, that is the best statement I have heard all day. Saturdays are bound to be busy. Its a saturday. Go on sunday. Im tellin ya, some people cant be pleased. Pay twenty bucks for short lines, people complain. Have it free, and people complain about the waits. Can we all just agree that FearFest is going to happen at least? Personally, I liked it when it was pay because less people I had to see in a given night. Except for the last night it was open on Halloween. That was ridiculous (line was cut at 1 AM and I left at 3:30)

I concur. Really, the big time for the shows are just as the parks open. I can see showing them would be bad in the offseason because if they arent of year round parks, then people would be trying to go to the parks while they are closed, and that would be bad. Imaine full time employees walking up to PKI in the dead of winter and seeing cars lined up trying to park for a day at PKI. I would probabily laugh at their stupidity.

No,no, no, re-read the post. I will put this in caps, so read real carefully. Any other questions that I can answer because people dont read posts?

I highly doubt that PKI will bring back The Bat theming. There are so many other good themes to use, and reusing The Bat, especially when the only people who remember The Bat are enthusiast and a small group of 30-something adults, would be pointless. The park would be getting so many questions, "Why isnt it just The Bat, why The Bat Returns?" So, in conclusion, dont count on the park reusing themes from 20 years ago.

Aha! I knew there was an ivy tunnel at PKI! Everyone I talk to about it said I was confusing PKI and the zoo. Nows whos stupid!

Hey RyanA Why not make a game with all of the PKIU players in it? For example, you could lead a crusade as Aaron, who meets up with other people to form a core group. Just a thought.

Yeah, the catch line would be "See the people from PKI Unlimited on TV!" Anyway, I wonder if they would go from first training day to end of season or not. Or just one day. Interesting.
