Yes, Monday morning I was working Beast. You should have introduced yourself. I like meeting people.
-
A couple of things: #1) Why are we all taking this subject so personally? Come on, we are all supposed to tell what we have on our minds about somethings. Thats something they teach in grade school (ok, maybe just mine). But taking what people say seriously isnt right. Just chill out and relax. #2) My view: The government is being hypocritical of itself. The same government who says smoking is legal also tries to get people to stop smoking. Personally, I dont care if you smoke or not. Just dont blow it in my face. #3) As a ride op, if I ever see it, I stop it. No questions asked. If you have a question about why, I point to the nearest No Smoking sign. Now you have my views.

But still, you have the issue of cost.It would look cool, but again, its a lot easier to use existing paths/pour concrete into flat ground. A lot cheaper too.
-
Pki_guy, I would just like to ask these simple questions: 1) would you be willing to pay for these new cars, and would you like to redo the entire station? Cause its a lot for those trains (I heard the price on one car, and about had a heart attack) and the station is built to the car. To change the cars now would mess up the entire station.
-
The problem with the woods behind PKI is that its mostly hills. It would be very difficult to put a midway in these hills. If they did, the midway itself would cost a lot more than just pouting concrete in the ground.
-
Ryan, I rode that sucker 113 times last year, and only walked away with pain on a couple of occasions. You just gatta really know how to sit compact.

Did anyone see the new Billborads on the highway?

I would like to point out that most parks use "false Advertising", especially chain parks. IF you ever see a Six Flags commercial, there commercials show coasters from different parks all the time. Its really no big deal. -
Boo hoo. I have to deal with kids being in line for a hour. That only leaves me with 4 more hours of rides! Im sooooo disappointed in PKI because they overlap times by an hour! Geeze, you sound like a whiny spoiled 2 year old! You get exclusive parking, ERT, and several other benefits! Be happy PKI even gives you the CHANCE to get this offer!

1) TRTR 2) Delirium 3) Drop Zone 4) Flying Eagles 5) Zephyr

Sorry bout the time. The only time I saw daylight was on my two breaks and around 8ish. I was in the ride chamber for pretty much the entire night. Dragonlord, did you see a tall guy named Tom in there somewhere?
-
Picture taking while riding is prohibited. Look on the Fun and Safety guideline signs.
-
Yeah I need to study up on Waterworks. The two questions I missed were about that area. 23/25
-
The longest the line was at TR was about a hour. At the end of the night, for about an hour it was walk on. So everyone pretty much left early.
-
Easy solution: Dont ride if you dont like the new brakes. That way, I dont have to show up so early for work if I wanna ride it before I clock in.
-
You should have stayed. Later that night, we were doing the do-si-do with some of the guests.
-
Ummm, yeah I went straight to my car to clock in, and my shoes are now in the dryer (hoping I dont have to wear wet shoes again for today (sunday at 7 right now). It was a fun night just because we did have the storms. I guess bad weather, while it doesnt make employees jump up and down, the end of them do tho. Oh and I found the next addictive substance on Earth. This substance will rival beer in about 200000000000 years: White Castles and Mountain Dew. Oh forgot to mention, at one in the morning. I never knew you could have that much fun with a shopping cart
-
The reason they picked holidays are because that those are typically really slow days. So, to boost profit (they are a business), they have a goldpass benefit. Makes perfect sense from a business standpoint.
-
Tony, I would have paid good money to see you sitting on the roof of a car.
-
One of these days Im actually going to fork over the money to try that game. Call me a cheapskate.
-
You also have to think, FOF is indoors. Thats a legimate question. I thought about this some more in English class (my foreign language lol) and I thought of some more questions from this year: Is this a Ride? (Out at greeter right next to the Tomb Raider THE RIDE sign) Is this the entrance? (Again, at greeter while sitting under the ENTER sign) Do the stone monkeys come to life? (In antechamber) Does someone poke out of that door? (This one is just kinda ironic because the guy immediately in Preshow happened to run through the fog the next time antechamber door opened) This is all that I could think of off hand. Im sure FOF has some good ones as well.
-
Ouch, the first big one. Well, I will be at PKI working from 815-4, so if you are really bored, swing on by. Hopefully I will see ya.
-
When I rode, the queue was back to the covered area, and there was all but one queue open, and it took me about a half an hour. Hey Sparky, Your crew is doing a great job this year. Keep it up!!!!!
-
I was asked where the Eiffel Tower is once while working SOB. That was funny. Also, I was asked if Tomb Raider was a real movie. (after someone viewed preshow)
-
Theres other things that are just a little big more important to fix around the park than the light. Gatta keep that in mind.
-
I would actually purchase 3 rides: TR, FOF, and Beast. I would ride Beast and TR until it rained, then I would ride TR until it broke down and then ride FOF
