  1. Say it ain't so! The Backwards Racer is my 2nd favorite ride at Kings Island, it is so much funner than forwards.
  2. I guess there is little chance of this park opening back up
  3. More than anything else KI needs a nice sit down and get waited on restaurant.
  4. that's right coney is like that, I like that, some people just wanna walk around, like my parents, that's the way it should be, if you're not riding you shouldn't have to pay the same as those who are, more grandparents would go and spend plenty of money on other things with their grandkids.
  5. cool i'll have to get up there sometime, I like the way they charge 2.50 to get in and then you buy a ride pass, not that it would pertain to me but that way if a parent or grandparent wants to go and watch the kids and not ride they don't have to pay as if they were riding the expensive rides.

well places that carry Pepsi products usually have dr pepper, I knew that Pepsi couldn't have something that good.
  7. being a fan of the antique cars as many of us on here are, Seeing an old ride of autoing through the treetops at the lagoon looked really cool, it's like antique cars up high in the air (through the treetops) what cool concept.
  8. I don't look for a flume or small coaster to be installed in the near future, I just would be thrilled if they did
  9. I thought this park looked interesting, vintage old park, anyone ever been there, what did you think? is it worth the trip?
  10. We ought to have a section for people who are going up by themselves for the day who wants to meet up, I know as many times as I go up, there are several occasions I go by myself.

Please no, I love Coke, Pepsi tastes like sh__, of course that's the way most businesses go, because they can get Pepsi cheaper, and that's just what it is cheaper, However if they must I just pray they have Dr Pepper the one redeeming Pepsi product, This is why I wish I could bring my own drink in places, it's not that I mind getting totally ripped off, but I want a drink I can stand the taste of.
  12. next thing you know people will start complaining about the free parking pass they got for ordering early.
  13. I don't understand why so many hate the mean streak, I think it's a great coaster in a great location on the lake.
  14. They were Ludlow Lagoon's biggest competitor
  15. Just bring in any old vintage log flume with no theming and I'd be thrilled.
  16. I hope it gets saved, but it doesn't sound good
  17. Ive been to halloweekends almost every year since it started, actually the first halloweekends was my first trip to the point, I think it was 96, it was dead that year, probably because a lot of people didn't know about it, every year since it has been packed the day I went. This year, an hour and 15 minute wait for the corkscrew, yikes
  18. I think a lot of people don't realize how long the line is for dt, till they've been in it awhile, and then they just stick it out since they've already invested so much time in line, if it were still an outdoor ride it probably would have much shorter lines.
  19. Schedule just announced, they added a halloweekend the first weekend of November, that event really does well
  20. I don't believe the corkscrew will go, because of how it decorates the midway, I have heard in the past that the ride would have been gone a long time ago, but stays because of this. DT would be good to go being right on the lake would be a great location for something.
  21. I don't know if anyone has posted this yet but: Right now I’ve got no way to confirm this rumor at all, so I’m just passing it on as a possible warning, but Screamscape has heard that Cedar Point may be considering the removal of “an older steel coaster” before the 2010 season. I’m guessing 2010 could very likely be the next year we’ll see a new coaster added to the park, so it may be time for an older ride to make way for a newer ride. With the arms race against Magic Mountain to see who has the most coasters over, the time may be right. I don’t have a name at this point, but my short list of possibilities would include: Wildcat, Disaster Transport, Iron Dragon, Corkscrew and the Cedar Creek Mine Ride. Despite the numerous rumors of Disaster Transport being removed over the years, we’ve heard that the park may be leaning towards removing a ride move towards of the back of the park, which would likely narrow it down to my final three possibilities if true. I hope it's not the corkscrew if this happens, that just looks too cool over the midway
  22. Tumble Bug, Enchanted Voyage, Antique Cars and Skylab
  23. Would be awesome to see it at coney, although I'm sure that won't happen
