Removing a third coaster in as many years wouldn't be the greatest look, unless they absolutely had to. Even then, I could see it being left SBNO to avoid demolition costs, unless something was already slated to replace it.

I mean, it would be a good infrastructure upgrade if they were to ever build a new campground back there, could operate a shuttle service for both that, GWL, and the dorms. But for normal tram use, it just veers away from the parking lot itself too quickly. Edit to add a history tidbit relating to Great Wolf and a campground: In November 2006 when GWL construction was down to finishing touches, the marquee sign on KI Drive included a "Kings Island Campground" sign, with an arrow aiming down the new road: Less than a month (and some landscaping) later, that sign had been removed:

Unless it was just a tram shuttle service for Great Wolf and the employee dorms, I'm not sure how the route of the old road would be of any use for trams.

I think it would be pretty safe to say that Cedar Fair just outright got fed up with Intamin, especially after the Maverick woes and then outright demolishing Shoot the Rapids. If they were still going to be Intamin customers, Copperhead Strike would probably have been Intamin instead of Mack.

Honestly if they had built a Dinn twister with PTC trains like that it would probably have joined the RMC club by now. Diamondback, if still a Rivertown location, would probably be where Mystic is now, at least the station area.

There's usually at least some mulch/basic landscaping space between the queue or path areas and the fence, what they have up currently looks like the same basic stuff they put up around Vortex so could be temporary, or maybe just not painted or themed yet.

Eh, for a non-B&M sitdown looper I could totally see a Steel Curtain-ish S&S. IMO it would even be fitting, since modern S&S coasters are sort of the evolution of Arrow.

I find the 500-cycle thing unrealistic,at least for them to be uninterrupted. 500 problem-free cycles in a row would be a challenge for any ride, let alone a brand new one figuring out any kinks.
