Cedar Fair looking for buyer
But... they can't... umm... they just... What? lol Why would you just buyout parks and then turnaround and want to get bought out? I have a feeling it has to do with the executives getting some serious cheese.

Vortex
I don't think it goes exactly with the terrain but the Batwing element by the midway is one of my favorite spots at KI.

It's a Star Spangled Celebration, New Kings Island PR Announced
Yeah I did find that as a nice touch. Has anyone else been to EPCOT on the 4th of July? I was there for it about 3 summers ago. They start out with the regular awesome Illuminations show and then they do the holiday special, which proceeded the show and was like five minutes. I think the first four were artsy and to patriotic music and then the last minute was just as many fireworks they could light up the sky as possible. It was pretty freakin' sweet.

Old Screechin' Eagle
What about Stricker's Grove? Or would they be against it since Ralph Stricker built the Tornado and Teddy Bear (at least according to www.rcdb.com). They do have a good amount of unused land around the parking lot which the train encompasses.

Kings Island PhotoTR: SoB Review!
I was thinking the exact same thing; less weight - less speed. If it does only go 72, it's no longer the fastest with Colossos in Germany going 74.6, as you implied.

Special Announcement from KICentral coming soon!
Seriously! Those mesh things they have over the Firehawk queue is laughable. I had an idea to take that area and make it like a roofed lounge where you can sit down after you get a number when you get in line. It'd be like waiting to get a table at a restaurant with couches to sit on and of course AC. Obviously that'll never happen but a man can still dream.

Death At Holiday World Water Park
Yeah, I can with recent events but its pretty obvious that this was a medical problem. Still a sad story.

Annoying habits of guests
Well I've only experienced this once so far but it was the only time I've rode it this year. On Shake Rattle and Roll there's several height distinctions where in a certain range, shorter children have to ride with an adult. Well two groups in front of me had the exact same problem. There were 3 people, one adult with 2 children that feel within this range. So it took several minutes for both of them to understand what the ride-op was saying, realize they had to make a decision, and then choose which kid would stand and wait (so the parent rode with one kid and then the next cycle would ride with the other child). I can't understand why parents disregard the signs out front where it shows the height restriction just to cause everyone else in line an extra wait because they can't comprehend the situation.

Krazy City Theme Park Coming To Cincinnati Early 2008
I have but not in many years. I was thinking about possibly going sometime this summer.

Restraints on coasters for large individuals
I agree. I'm not that tall at 6 foot and I realize that Vortex was opened before I was born but it's still a tight fit leg room wise for me (in the second row of the cars) not to mention my brother and friend who are both around 6'4-6'5 and have to sit in the front car. I feel really bad for the people that are larger and can't ride because they don't fit when they pay just as much money as everyone else to get in.

SOB Blue Train?
Nice observation, that makes sense to me.

Flight Of Fear Lights On
Yeah, I was wondering that myself because if they were gonna do it sometime this season they need to start fitting the trains with the cameras. They can redo the area where you pick them up whenever but with only a certain amount of trains to use which they need everyday, it's a little harder to take a train off the track to work on. How many trains do they have at FoF? I'm pretty sure they run three but do they have an extra one so they could put cameras in one while the other 3 run? Or are they already there and I'm totally oblivious?

2 new park videos
Indeed. Simply great.

Special Announcement from KICentral coming soon!
That's a pretty novel idea. It could be the longest and fastest moving sidewalks in the world!

Restraints on coasters for large individuals
I dunno, I find IJ one of the easiest to get in to. A lot better than FoF which has almost the same restraint.

Special Announcement from KICentral coming soon!
Personally, I could go for some cold hard cash.

Do you tell on line jumpers?
Well when I went Tuesday, I didn't have to because it was plain as day and the ride attendant saw it. My girlfriend and I were in line for Firehawk and we were about five away from the fork in the station road, when this group of younger people that just entered the line all wormed under the queue rails into the station queue line. It was obvious to everyone and without hesitation the girls sitting there got up from her stool and promptly showed the group back the way they came. I, among a few others, joined in applause of the young lady.

Coney Island Central Debuts!
It looks very nice. Good job Robbie. This might convince me to visit Coney sometime this summer since I haven't been in many years.

That's rough. I just you didn't expect to fall asleep for that long.

Stricker's Grove July 4th
Stricker's Grove is a great small park. My high school holds it's annual Alumni Picnic there and ironically the first year, last year, where I could've gone because I was an alumni myself, I didn't. I'd usually go since my dad and brother's were alums. Hopefully I'll go with my friends this year.

parking question

Statue behind Eiffle Tower.
Yeah, I remember taking the Backlot tour at MGM and at one part you could see the massive amount of tires that they have to keep on property for the show. I thought they said they have to change tires like every two shows (maybe every show) or something to keep them fresh. It is an amazing show. However, I don't see something like it high on KI's list even though it would fit pretty well in AZ.

parking question
That would make a lot of sense for people to be able to go to Starbucks early so people could get their caffeine fix before their adrenaline rush.

S.O.B.
If it was truly the Son of Beast, it should have at least one tunnel even if the mother had none.
