Speaking of the seating of people on roller coasters... has anyone else noticed that many (if not all) of the signs for coasters at KI read 2 per "seat" and not 2 per "row"? I always chuckle when I see them as I picture two people trying to squeeze into the same restraints.

Are you talking about when it is lifting to the top or on it's way down? Either way it's not as scary as you might think. They can use a manual release to release the ride to the ground. As for the mid drop scenario, you answered your own question. Yeah, the only way Drop Tower would plummet to the ground and not be stopped by the magnetic brakes is if the earth stopped rotating. And in that case, we're all screwed anyway.

Well the truth is the Cincinnati could have a had Super Bowl if it had a Dome. The team wanted grass at the time so no dome and Super Bowl. Also Riverfront was designed to have a dome but they never built it. I looked one time at the locations of all the Super Bowls and it's either been in a warm weather climate year round area or a dome... sometimes both. So much for the cold being "football weather."

I rode Nighthawk when it was Stealth at then Paramount's Great America and I have to say that I like the flying corkscrews more than the in-line twists.

I am guessing you are referring to the fact that when the seats are in loading position they would lead you to believe that the seats which are in the front of the train are the back and vice versa. This picture... looks like the front row of a regular sitting coaster. However, when laid down: this is actually the back of the train.

Awesome TR. I was there on the 18th of July with my friends and we had an awesome time. MF was 45 minutes, Maverick was 1.25 hours, we managed to get on TTD right after it opened back up in the middle of the day and waited 20 minutes, Magnum was a walk on, Raptor was 15 after it opened back up in the middle of the day. I noticed you didn't mention Wicked Twister. I really like that one. I think Iron Dragon is a waste of time/space compared to Flight Deck but I guess some must like it. Anyway, great pictures. Who are you talking about?
