Last year my wallet couldn’t keep up with everything that was being listed on the KIGear site…it seemed like they were listing things twice a week, now it’s about once every week and a half or more. I am still waiting on those 2 pins that I have been looking for….and it has now been over 2 weeks since I emailed them specifically asking for them to be listed. I guess they aren’t hurting for money this year.

I once heard banter about Universal Studios on TV here in Illinois and drove to Orlando to see it.

Since my last post the KIGear site has added The Bat pin and all 3 sets of the Phantom Theater pins…unfortunately they still haven’t gotten to the “You must be this tall..” pin or the Adventure Port pin set…which of course are the ones that I really want. I contacted them before they even listed The Bat pin specifically asking them to stock those…but it looked like a generic response of “they will be stocking new items in the future” type of a reply…so I still have my fingers crossed.

Revenue is probably down just because I haven’t bought nearly as much merchandise as I “had” to do last year for the 50th Anniversary.

This thread is like a car wreck that I just can’t seem to help myself from looking at! My earlier post with the man digging a hole was just my (completely neutral) observation that everyone just seems to be digging a hole deeper and deeper into a subject that obviously no one can win…everyone’s minds are already made up one way or another and there doesn’t appear to be a way for anyone to sway them one way or another, yet they keep trying…that’s why I find this thread both amusing…and sad. About the only good thing I can say about this thread is that I am glad that KICentral still exists where we could even have a conversation like this.

^ I agree…I have been checking the site daily in hopes of getting them.

This picture is nothing special but I figured that I would share my favorite thing about the new Adventure Port, this boat…boy I love it!

Amen...I am more stressed at Disney than at work...or even my usual normal day-to-day life...something is wrong there...but I don't foresee Disney fixing their issues anytime in the near future. (Even a Disney cast mate was ridiculing their Genie+ system to me...we were talking about how you "have" to get up at 7AM to make your plans...and she said very sarcastically "Yeah...because we all know that when you're on vacation you want to get up at 7 in the morning!"....I loved her honesty.)

It would be nice to win...and even nicer to live long enough to use it all!

Sorry, I do not have a spare one hanging out that I know of...and I am a completest type of a collector, I hate missing something in a set....but keep a good thought, I can't last forever and I know that my collection of Kings Island stuff will eventually end up on eBay!

These are the ones that I own…I believe these are the only ones made with Nick characters.

Personally I think only someone who was high would be willing to spend $24.99 for them! I will admit they look great…but that price is insane.

You would of thought that every now and then would be good…every day seems a bit extreme! (Every now and then I like to honor Terpy with something I think he might have posted. )

I find it hilarious that a group started to basically subvert Kings Island’s chaperone rule has a “one strike your out” policy…what, they don’t want anyone to break THEIR rules?!

I am glad they are continuing these pins…but also surprised since they are always on clearance at the end of each season…which leads me to, who are they kidding with “Get yours today while supplies last”.

I know…if they did that, then people would be saying stuff like “I wish they would open earlier…I wouldn’t even care if all the rides were running…I just wanna ride something!”

The beginning of your sentence should be capitalized, as should Camp Cedar...you also misspelled both definitely & availability. As the saying goes...people in glass houses should not throw stones!

I haven’t talked merch in awhile…just a couple of observations…I am surprised that the site has not had any type of clearance sale yet on some of the 50th anniversary merchandise…. I would have thought that they would have tried to clear out some of the shirts, cups & banners . I wonder if these items will still be in the gift shops when the park opens…and if so, will they still be regular price? I am also surprised that they have still not sold out of the autographed book bundle. I know it is pricey…but I would have thought that there were easily 50 people who would have wanted it by now.

Wondering how much cheaper the new price will be since the cups cost less to produce….just kidding. (As my dad liked to say…500 comedians out of work and you’re trying to be one.)

You should have thrown on one of the new full train cut outs…that way you would have gotten more bang for your buck with the shipping cost!
