The lady that took my order seemed exhausted. She said the phone had been ringing non-stop. She told me that the orders would not be shipped out until the end of the month...and that is when they would charge your credit card. She also told me that the piece of wood would be just that, a pretty decent sized piece with a nameplate attached to it. She did not know about how the bolt would be "packaged".

I have been trying to get through since 9 am...the phone is always busy. Woo Hoo! Just got through and got my order placed!

Finally! Common (consumer) sense prevails. Thank you!

Proof positive that working at the park is NOT all fun & games.

Anyone that knocks KI Extreme did not know the site it in it's prime...which was the problem. No matter how much great content they added, they couldn't seem to draw a big audience. There was/is no justice. No Kings Island fan website ever had more of an enthusiast heart than KI Extreme. "Don't let it be forgot. That once there was a spot. For one brief shining moment that was known as Camelot."

Along the same lines that I have never understood how anyone could be a paticular sports team's "enthusiast" year after year no matter what...I do not understand how anyone could be a KI Central "enthusiast" year after year. This site, just like a team is made up of a group of people...how can you like either with the same enthusiasm when they are never the same due to their everchanging "line-up"? I consider myself an enthusiast of certain members of KI Central...past & present.

I have always loved to say that I have experienced everything Fearfest/Halloween Haunt has had to offer...Half Pint Brawlers being the only exception (by choice)...but now I will have to add Madame Fatale's Dead Inn Feast to that list. It's not really overpriced considering the menu being offered...at least compared to normal theme park food prices, the price is just over my head. For my family to all go it would be $350.00.(Or as Don might say, "Less than $350.00". ) I could afford to eat there by myself, but it just wouldn't be any fun. P.S. Whoever does attend, please take some pictures to share here!

Dave, I would also like to thank you for putting together your tribute, it is obvious that you had some great times with Keith.

Just bumping one of my favorite trip reports from Keith.

I dreaded even opening this topic...I had a sinking feeling that I knew what it might be and I didn't want to see it confirmed, I had such high hopes that Keith would win his battle. Although I never met Keith in person, I feel that through his amazing trip reports I know him better than people that I do come in contact personally. He was a huge asset to this community. One of my favorite lines from one of Keith's trip reports is as follows: "...another family Disney trip while the boys were in that prime age (5, 7, and 40)" Even though this line makes me sad at the moment, it also makes me smile...which i'm sure would make Keith happy. My heart goes out to all of his family and friends, he will truly be missed.

Personally I don't see any reason to induct him...or even Carmen Electra for that matter. It should be for the people who helped make the park what it is today...not for what someone accomplished after they left.

My guess is that one of you is right.

I would rather be able to speak my own mind...if that means no "official" day I say so be it. Dane? Who is this Dane that you speak of? Just because it wasn't "official" doesn't take away from the good time that you had at "your" KIC Day...correct? I think it was great that you even cared enough to attempt a get-together. (I would have liked to have attended, but my schedule is busier than ever than ever this year... I have only made it to the park once this year.) As for the turnout, remember it's quality, not quantity.
