Nothing exciting...but I figured I would post these here...otherwise they'll just sit in my closet and no one will see them.

Which I guess (As The Interpreter has taught us) means that the other half couldn't care less.

If it's the same ad agency that Hardee's uses I woulddn't be so sure. Has Hardee's EVER had a good commercial...it's like they strive to top themselves by making an even worse commercial than the previous one.

I blew up one area of it about 700%...and it looks like BavaianBeetle to me also. (Yes you can feel free to groan! )

WOW! The lighting does look great! I like how everyone is standing around admiring it...kinda reminds me of everyone standing outside the Griswold house in Christmas Vacation.

^Of all of the pictures I have seen of the park hardly any of them "scream" spectacle...in my opinon, but this one does! You can just tell by the photo that it was a glorious day to have been there.

There isn't. It's just that some people love to nit pick every thing to death rather than just answer. O irony, irony, wherefore art thou irony?! I posted my "I'm not talking about the people greeters" reply just for the sole purpose of hopefully getting PKIVortex to stop for a split second and try and think who I was talking about! I am fully aware that the employee doesn't greet doors...just as I know Chinese cooks are not out there cooking people...but in my town that is what the job is known as. I am sorry if I have offended any people greeters out there!

I think the horse trolley is one of my biggest dissapointments with WDW. I feel SO sorry for those poor horses having to haul the tourists up and down the street. I think the same "atmosphere" effect could be acheived just by having the horse & trolley standing still (in the shade) for a photo op. I am truly surprised that the park still sees the need for this "ride".

5 hours max? I would think Walmart trains their door greeters longer than that.

Maybe if things get close they'll bring in Mr. Krabs to band-aid it together on time.

I also had it twice this morning.

When I first posted that photo I had no way of fixing the scan of the old photo...my current program attempts to put the original colors back in faded photos. Here is what it came up with:

These 2 posts together just struck me as funny.

I have been fighting to get on for over a half hour. Refreshing sometimes gets me back...but only until I click to another page and then i'm lost again.

This shot always reminds me of The Brady Bunch episode...although I guess it is 2 years later. I also always notice that the boy can't be "cool" because his socks are too short...and they don't have stripes! (You kids won't understand. ) These are what all of the cool guys wore back then.

I can't say as Wild Animal Safari ever made that big of an impression on me. I do remember riding the monorail...and even though I was a kid at the time it didn't really seem like a great time. I will say that I wish the park would have kept that African theming though...it would be SO much nicer than the look of Action Zone. Paul, as always thanks for taking the effort to post the daily photos...I am sure it is the highlight of this site for a lot of people.

Thanks for sharing...it looks like you all had a great time. I am also not a believer in waiting until the kids are "the right age". Sure the little ones may not remember it when they get older...but they are having the time of their life now...and I do think it molds their personality even if others might not. You took some great pictures...your daughter will always cherish them. I think this one is great: Your daughter's expression is priceless!

I remember the days when I knew exactly which site to go to for the latest updates of the park. (I guess I am old!)
