TB is incredibly talented and I like all of his ideas. Plus he is a really friendly guy.

I’d theme to the Bengals but I’d be afraid the coaster would start out fast at the beginning of the season and then stall out before the final break-run near the end of the season.

The park was packed last night! I Waited 1hour for a burrito bowl. The line started by the Coke building. I ate ate the Barbecue once this summer.... sorry, I was not impressed.

Im guessing, if they are sticking with nostalgia, a covered bridge, a stream and lake, and maybe a French countryside village, maybe a lilting accordion soundtrack playing ( for something different.

I’m actually hoping the layout will be a total secret. It would be something to look forwards to for next year!

Banshee cam went up at the beginning of the 2013 season. Remember the “paranormal” warnings signs and Halloween props inside the fence too? There were station footings already poured. There was a seasons worth of speculation before the actual announcement of Banshee. if anything is going on in 2020, I expect we will see construction st the beginning of season 2019, especially for a large attraction.

Looks like they’re getting an Eiffel Tower too!

It’s a quarter mile or 1320 feet. 7.3 mph is about 3 minutes. It’s a little more than 1/3 the length of one side of Racer. I’m guess the area is about 5 acres. That’s about 264 feet of track per acre. That’s 5 Eiffel Towers ( bottom level to ground) in length. Seems to me to be longer than it’s being given credit.

I remember before TombRaider there was a rumor floating around about Rivertown becoming Crystal Lake. (Grain of salt for rumors) but I think it would have been deemed inappropriate because of the subject of the movies. It would have been an interesting concept to say the least.

Wow! What a fantastic read! I’ve always been interested in the Kings Island that never was. Do you know of any rides that were considered but not installed? I recall hearing that the Eiffel Tower was slated to be replaced with something else, I can’t recall what it was to be though.

Darn, if The Racer wasn’t there, more people could see Firehawk and ridership would be higher.

Reread Chad’s text. If it is a coaster (and it is) then they will be announcing final rides.... so sounds like there will be a send off... in style I hope. Good PR drives up sales, the buzz has been out there since a “mystery person” carved GIGA in the snow during Winterfest. And the Internet has been buzzing all year. Keeping it a mystery till the end will definitely increase pass sales now!

Hmmm a Giga named Splintercat? Through the dense woods. Still works. On another note, Its also funny how WCPO always ends their human interest stories with “Don’t waste your money”. Does that really apply to guessing about a new coaster? Lol

I like the dimensions in the XBase area, I think a Giga could go right down the valley into the deep woods... . Also, Is it possible that B&M might have a new type of roller coaster up their sleeves? Perhaps a fourth dimension coaster?

I think it’s a great idea. Expand upon what is there, add hidden corkscrews and airtime hills. The possibilities are endless!

i second what Sonofbaconator said.... Adventure Express just needs a refurb. Maybe as someone suggested... RMC it.

Technically speaking, they could take out Vortex, and put a new Giga in X-Base. Or take out Firehawk and put a Giga station in the old Action Theater.
