  1. what exactly are you trying to prove Diamondback96? Kings Island very well could be featured on glee on day. after all, the brady bunch wasn't filmed close to Kings Island, yet they still filmed an episode there. and your comparison makes no sense to me, they haven't/ most likely won't film at a krogers, so they won't film at Kings Island? that truly doesn't mean anything. Kings Island is a destination amusement park, krogers is a grocery store.
  2. great pictures, i especially like the ones of the "beast penny mill."
  3. ...and don't forget the ones on a certain water ride in a ceo's front yard.
  4. i'm not sure how often you go to jungle jim's, but if you look in front of where the track currently stops, there have been more supports placed up (although up for a while now) they just haven't added more track yet.
  5. so, quick question, under the list of items in the "stocking" it says if you miss out on winning you can still buy each of the items through the online store, i cannot find the monopoly game anywhere on there, does anyone else see it?
  6. I heard a bunch of cartoon characters ran the place! Which one is the lead detective on the case? Mickey, Mini, Pluto, or Daffy?? In all seriousness I hope they catch the guy! donald?
  7. well, i've got to say this, if it does become a reality and prospers. i'm proud to say that i'll be able to see it from my grandma's house. and, from my house, be able to get to the park in about 8 minutes.
  8. http://www.kypost.com/dpps/news/local_news/theme-park-planned-for-n.-ky.%3F_5541466 here's an article about the park from kypost, and at the beginning, strangely enough, my hometown has something in the works.
  9. sorry, just a quick question. when was/for what was the checkerboard cobblestone installed?
  10. i'm going to guess somewhere around the orangutan exhibit.
  11. i personally enjoy mantis, it's one of my must rides on every visit to Cedar Point. what exactly is it that makes you dislike it so much?
  12. the only b&m inverts that i've been on are raptor and great white, i really liked the strong positive g's that great white provided.
  13. ^i've yet to feel that vibration many speak of, then again, i'm the same person who truly doesn't see how some of you all consider Son of Beast rough.
  14. ^^and a few weeks ago i was lucky enough to get to see some of change's track painted green, which was setting behind a local bank (northern kentucky) for about three days.
  15. sorry if this was already brought up, or i just happened to miss when it actually happened, but the sign for spongebob 3d is gone in this picture. is that something that is removed for urgent scare, or is this something that hints spongebob isn't returning?
  16. Any public school, secondary included. 59% and below is failing. any public school isn't correct, the school i go to if you have below a 67% you're failing; the lowest b is an 85% and the lowest a is a 93%.
  17. i thought that final bunny hop was still there when Flight of Fear opened, and if it was, could someone here tell why it was removed later? i thought the path to x-base used to be a service road before anyway.
  18. ^^laughing at "the lottery" and laughing at "you can ride the mousey in new england" are two completely different types of hilarity.
  19. that's funny, just because he's the best "kinzel" doesn't mean he's the best over all. i vote to place terpy as ceo of Cedar Fair.
  20. ^to add to the point about it holding two records. before anyone says it, Cedar Fair obviously doesn't understand that the days of record breaking are over, just look at the way that they advertise new attractions, "the tallest, fastest coaster in the mid-east," they're constantly advertising things like that.
  21. ^yep, yep, that's why i began my post saying that "i believe Son of Beast still has a fighting chance." then i stated two reasons why i believe it still has a chance of reopening.
  22. sorry to bring this up, but i noticed two things last night at Halloween Haunt that has lead me to believe Son of Beast still has a fighting chance: the signs talking about loose articles, seating arrangements, ect... are still located on the ramp. if it were being removed for sure, why wouldn't they remove those few signs? they don't even correspond to the haunt attraction. another thing i noticed is that they still have the brakes in the station, they are even using them as one of the scare tactics in the maze. if it were for sure leaving, wouldn't they have already taken all the electrical ran objects (chain lift, censers, brakes) off in order to start the deconstruction process? that would make sense to me.
  23. you mean at kentucky kingdom right? i live in grant county and they have the track "hiding" behind a bank.
  24. have any of you guys heard rumors of a new b&m roller coaster going in anywhere south of the fabrication plant in ohio that's going to be green? well the only reason why i ask this is because just now on my way home i spotted a flatbed with two green pieces of track on them. here are some pictures i took (sorry for the quality, i only had my phone. also, i hope to take more pictures tomorrow morning, it should still be there since the flatbed has no tractor trailer to be seen.): sorry, after reading the bar code the track seems to be change sporting it's new paint scheme as the green lantern.
