i am both mad and sad about the choice because it gave the riders the choice of an expericence and now it's like you will ride it forward and you will like it. (plus it will be the first time i will ride The Racer forward since like 5 years ago.)

this is the second most saddest day of my life, the most saddest was when the announced that they were going to remove the loop from Son of Beast.

It will be a sad day when that happens. I am probably wrong on this but doesnt Kings Island have a contract with Nickelodeon and when that runs out we will probably see the demise of Nick Central.
really i would be happy if just nick jr. would go so i don't have to here dora and deago's(spelling?) voices through out the park
. but i would miss spongebob alot because he is amazing. -

They could do it off the transfer track I believe. I would think the hardest part would be switching the brakes and such around.

I wonder how much down time is involved in switching the train configuration, in case the 'decision' comes after the park opens...
i don't know, wouldn't they have to take out a section of the track in order to spin the train around? or am i just over looking a transfer track?

On the other hand, I'm entirely too ready to see what they've done with the place. Maybe they'll keep up with the theming this year.. or let it go to be another Disaster Transport, as I'm told that rides theming has gone downhill as well.
if it becomes another disaster transport i hope they at least play music in the background so the echo of peoples screams isn't as noticable

Im going to ride The Crypt to see what it looks like since the movie themeing is gone and they removed some rows on the gondola!My 2nd will be Firehawk.I still need to ride it.

It's Still technically "Fairly Odd Coaster" which emplies that its "Cosmo and Wanda".
If i'm right, some of the car paint is just "Decals" or "Stickers", so maybe they take them off and put new ones on?
Plus, on the JacksonPKI thing, after reading the forums for a while (I couldn't log in so I read as a guest), I seriously think you guys scared him off here.
i think everyone including you had a little to do with his disapperance from the message boards.

i will either ride Son of Beast or The Beast first. then i will go and see what backlots billboard looks like in person. then all of the other new logos in person. then go gaze at swan lake

Uh, Brown the pile of rubber dog *** is only a reference when it's coming out of Hong Kong.
As for the fightertown, USA sign, I'd like to see it stay, it does reference the film, but the film references the real sign and real Navy Fighter-Weapon's school in Mirimar.
well buba gump's didn't reference forest gump and it's gone now.

Actually when they both went forward they were labeled Red Racer and Blue Racer in promotional books and maps, they have been referred to by park employees as Racer South (Backwards) and Racer North (forwards) since created.
my bad sorry i wasn't born yet.

if they are both going forward it is most likely because they were labled this when they both went forward

Well, seems he only has a credibility issue with very vocal few.
Seems to have quite a following from what I can tell. Even the folk that like to complain about Screamscape seem to check it out.

Seriously though, what Lance did by posting the info on Maverick was nothing different than the employee that hopped a fence and took pics of the construction of Swan Lake.
They both new that the information was privledged, but chose to post it anyway.

Thunder Run has never had more than one train.
And the area of Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom that contains Twisted Twins fka Twisted Sisters and Mile High Falls will not be open to the public this season.
why isn't it opening to the public? and you would think i would know more about a park that isn't very far from where i live.

Thunder Run is not open at this time. They are still working on it.
You mean Thunder Road....Thunder Run is at Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom, and will be the ONLY wooden coaster operating in that park this summer....with one train, that will be interesting....
what happened to twisted twins? and why is thunder run only running one train?

Carowinds offically opened for the 2008 season yesterday and Carowinds Zone sent a representive to the park to bring us back an update.

i really liked the crypt's logo and sign, but i have to dissagree and say i don't like backlot's new sign b/c stunt coaster is really dominating backlot unlike the italian job's where stunt track was written smaller in the bottom corner, and i think that Kings Island theater looks very plain without the columns.
