  1. ^Which is what they want.

I love taking pictures, and this year I will be documenting everything for my personal gallery. And I will be taking pictures of every bit of construction

so you are saying they want everyone in the park to just go to rivertown? leaving all of the other rides with no lines at all. it would be like when everyone ran to x-base to be first in line for Firehawk.

  2. KI has a contract with Coke for 3 more years. So nothing will possibly happen until then. Cedar Point and other non Paramount Cedar Fair parks have a contract with Pepsi for one more year with rumors they may go to Coke when the year is up.

i hope not, i love getting Pepsi at Cedar Point.

  3. you're all forgetting that last year- in addition to a hand-me-down from a closing park we got new trash cans.

And that's a bad thing? Most people don't even know that Firehawk was a used coaster. How is having more trash cans bad? I'd rather see that than fewer, overflowing trash cans.

but fewer trash cans means fewer bumble bees ;)

  4. You are correct, but I hear there's nothing to brag about CP's dorms. I've been told that they are in horrible condition. But, that is the reason they get more international employees I'm sure.

yea, when i was in seventh grade i went with the middle school band to preform in music in the park and we stayed at the hotel breakers and those rooms were in horridable shape. we even asked why they let the rooms go like they did and they said it was to keep the historicalness of the hotel. but the weird thing was the rooms were the only thing that were in such bad condition

  5. so will pictures come soon?

In this weather no. Also keep in mind that right now flying is very expensive. If you think $40 to fill up your car tank is a lot, just think about what the bill would look like for an airplane.

Right now I am sorry to say the only means of viewing KI from the air is by my old photos and satellite maps.

    o.k. i understand,

boy i wish google would update there satellite images.:(

  6. Sadly I thing everyone was hopping for Kings Island not Coney Island. Sure I like Coney Island but nothing is going on in the pictures.

I understand I am the off-season spy and many of you have been waiting patiently for aerial photos.

Wonder if Kings Island asked not to fly over and take pictures?

Unless KI is owned by the government and has private airspace over the park, Kings Island and Cedar Fair have no say what-so-ever to tell people not to fly over their parks.

so will pictures come soon?

  7. The recaR would never be the same if it was backwards, it's so much more thrilling than frontwards Racer. About 70% of the people who ride The Racer/recaR ride it backwards, so it would be a very stupid move for Cedar Fair and Kings Island.

That figure you quoted is not correct. Not even close.

Just realized that it was very confusing to read, so i fixed it... hopefully it's easier now?

I think he meant your figure of 70% is nowhere near correct. I don't believe it was a spacing issue in your words.

well i can see where he is getting this, beings the recar almost always has a line twice the lenght of The Racer

  8. i don't know why but to me a roller coasters logo is part of it's identity. And reusing it takes away the fact that it is one of a kind.

There are many coasters that have been duplicated not only with their logos, but in design as well as name.

    Absolutely nothing unusual there.

but those rides aren't one of a kind so it really it doesn't follow what i think

and lets face it, it would look weird to see top thrills logo on a wooden coaster
