The Witch's Caudrens is the one ride in my 37 years of going to KI that I got sick on.

What do you mean by e-mail ticket? Is it just the print-out thanking us for registering or will they e-mail us a ticket?

And I'll be 6 when it turns 100. 6 feet under, that is... unless I'm fortunate enough to live to see the ripe old age of 99! Same here unless I'm healthy enough to make it to 111.

I agree. It seems that for too many years, KI has been neglecting us coaster freaks in favor of more family friendly attractions like Italian Job. ( Now Backlot Stunt Coaster.)

I miss the original Enchanted Voyage before it changed to Smurfs. ( Live in my teveee...). Also loved Bavarian Beetle, Cuddle-Up and Rotor.

I can never remember the name of Tasmanian Typhoon, so I always refer to it as the giant toilet bowl.

I am sure Saturday was a full work day for Don.

Would be nice to have a Skyhawk flat ride like at CP.

Kudos to the entire DB crew for a job well-done. I was flabbergasted when I found out that it took just about 2 1/2 hours from the Larosa's Pizza to get on DB-that should have been a 5 hour wait. ( It probably would have in the Paramount years.) Keep up the great work.

Despite my reservations about the single rider line, I must say I have never seen better capacity on any KI ride than I did for DB yesterday. As the saying goes, if its not broken don't fix it.

I would put DB with at least my 5 favs. The airtime on that ride is absoulutely outstanding, especially on the second drop-couldn't believe that we were still floating all the way to the bottom of the second drop. Rode it 5 times yesterday and am going to keep a tally.

Got my first ride in with the passholder ERT and waited just about a half-hour-got there bright and early and was close to the front of the rope when they opened for passholders at 9am. I rode 4 more times throughout the afternoon and wait wasn't bad at all-45 minutes to 1 hour. The crew does an outstanding job as far as capacity. For example, a little after 10am the line was all the way back to Larosa's in Rivertown and went in the direction past the Eiffletower-people were yelling it was 4-6 hours when in fact from that point it was about 2 and a half hours-still long but not as bad as people thought. I also want to comment on the Single Rider's line. It is my understanding from reading the sign that it is for people who are in fact by themselves and not with a group. I would think it is legitimate if you were with a group earlier but end up by yourself because the group left or just didn't want to ride. I will probably be by myself next Saturday, so I plan to take advantage of this privilege. It looked to me like a lot of people were abusing this privilege by actually being in groups but getting in the single rider line and pretending they were not together. I think this is wrong. I would not be surprised if the park stopped the single rider line because of this abuse.

If you are planning to come to KI more than once, its a waste of money not to get a season pass.

I think KI has a great blend of mild rides and thrill rides. It's Cedar Point that needs more mild rides. You have the Giant Wheel, coal train, a few sparse kids' areas, and that's it. The rest is all towering roller coasters.. which by the way, is fine with me.. but not for someone else. Then again, that may just be me.. I take Drop Tower's free fall with no hands. I love an extreme thrill. I think CP is grossly under-rated with respect to their reputation for providing child friendy areas. I would not call the kids' areas sparse. You have not one, not two but three kids' areas( Camp Snoopy, King Arthur's Court, Planet Snoopy) and I would certainly not call them sparse. And the train is first-class-the theming( Love that Boneville) provides first-class entertainment. And I never miss a ride or two on Paddlewheel Excursion. A nice relaxing ride coupled with the corney jokes- a welcome break after getting worn out by the coasters. And the Giant Wheel is a first class ferris wheel. Not to mention not one but two antique car rides and more kiddy rides scattered along the TTD Midway. So, what is this about CP not being family friendly?

Screamin Demon when it opened summer of 77 was my first looper. I was 16.

A very close call for me between Cedar Fair and Taft Broadcasting. I voted for Taft because of the warm memories I have going with my dad in those days to KI and riding the old rides, including Enchanted Voyage, Cuddle Up, Der Spinning Keggers ( My very first KI ride. ), Tumble Bug, Sky Ride. Its just nice to see the old rides co-exist with the new. ( Part of the charm of CP.)

I've ridden both Kinga Ka and TTD and I prefer TTD because of the freedom of movement I have without the shoulder restraints of Ka. I thought the launch was more intense on TTD. However, I loved the big bunny hill at the end of Ka-great airtime.

And happy 20 to Magnum and happy 15 to Raptor.

I thought Glen Ryle of WKRC ( Most of you are too young to remember but he was Skipper Ryle) was on the first beast ride-I remember seeing him on the local news introducing the ride.

Maybe I'm missing something but how can you rate a ride that hasn't even opened yet?
