wonder who they would get to do that? If I wasn't making 50 bucks an hour, they could try to hand me a putty knife, and I would laugh in their face. No way I would get out there and clean that. It's disgusting. Would you?

I just took a look at it, and I'll say up front I know NOTHING about photography, or art. I loved the winning picture. The tree branches in the foreground, and the SOB in the background! An interesting perspective. I though that Jackson's pic of DB in the sun was great too, but I'll bet that out of 200 pictures, 180 were probably some variation of DB. Hard to separate from the pack that way. Congrats to Ty, and all that entered. While everyone couldn't win, be happy you got to go, and participate. I wanted to be there very bad, but got stuck at home.

I'll be amazed if The Beast is passed. In todays world, whatever CEO decided to kill that many trees in the name of pleasure would be strung up by his feet!!!! LOL We live in a "green" world now. Gotta behave, or the "tree huggers" will get you!!!

I voted "Beast" I was torn between it, and DB. but, I haven't ridden DB yet, just going by how great everyone else thinks it is. Plus I still want to get to KI to ride The Beast, one the main reasons for going. Will we feel that way about DB 30 years from now? Or will something bigger and better have taken it's place? Thats why I went with Beast. Staying power!!!!!

Don't know if i have answered this or not. But I am 37, married, and I have 2 kids. I feel like I'm 18 when I'm in the park. Driving home afterward, when the pains of the day start getting past the rush of being there, I start to feel 80!!!!

Great pictures! I really enjoy seeing the kids play. The little girl crying on the bumper cars just broke my heart though.. Her monkey was adorable though. Looked like she kept it with her all day!

Really good pics! I liked the one you had marked Photo Contest #2, with the tower and kiddie copters. The other one that I thought was really well done was the one with the tower in the background, and the Diambondback sign. But they were all really good. Another one that pops out (to me) is the one where you are looking up into the sun towards DB going over a hill.

I can't speak on single people, or teenage groups. Those days went bye-bye a LOONNNNNGGGGGGG time ago. What I can say, is when I go to the park, I am the "dad" of a family group. I spend a butt-load of money too. I have said this in the past too. Jacking up the cost of food, has not caused me to spend any more money in the park. We always set aside "X" amount of nickels for in-park spending. Now, if I spend extra on food or drinks, then thats money I can't spend on games, or t-shirts. Bottom line is, The park is going to get a certain amount of money from me on every trip. It doesn't matter to me if that is spent on games, or food. It will be spent period. I would like to buy a Diamondback shirt on my next visit. But, if it's hot, and I have to buy a few lemonaides, then I won't be able to.

I really wanted to attend this party, but alas, couldn't pull it off. I want to be a ride a warrior, but I am not. We started pounding out kids quite a few years ago, the biggest "new" ride we went on was Top Gun. Once the kids came along, we were limited to what we could ride. We take the kids there every year, but we have to switch off with the little ones, and take turns riding the rides that our oldest can get the nerve up to ride. We were looking forward to RWW as a chance for the two of us to go ride the good stuff, but the guilt wouldn't let us. Our kids were really upset when they found out we were going without them! Brats!!!! So the list of rides that I have never got to ride remains large, and I am itching to ride them all! I have never riden: Drop Tower Delerium Invertigo Crypt Slingshot/Skyflyer Now, Diamondback. I have rode SOB, but that was during a trip with other adults that watched the kids for us while we rode. At least I got to ride that one with the loop. The last week of July is the first "sure thing" for a visit. We will be there for 3 days, so I am calling out to all of the real "Ride Warriors" to be at the park, and give me a ride partner so I can go on some of these rides! Except Delerium, I will lose my lunch on that, no doubt about it. I want to ride everything else though.

This is what I love the most about Kings Island. What provides the most fun. Brand new B&M? nope 30 year old classic woodie? no ERT on every ride? nada A sheet of plywood standing up, and painted like a van? BINGO!!!! You guys looked like you had a wonderful time, I'm sorry I missed it. Justin, you should submit the Mystery Machine pic to the KI photo contest. they probably have 50 copies of the same shot of each coaster, they would probably love an original shot! What Maiden shirt were you wearing? Was that from the Somewhere Back in Time tour last summer?

Do people look at you like you are crazy when you standing there counting the cars?

I was born in 71, so I guess all those rides were being built when I was born?

It doesn't bother me being dark, or lit. I can understand some of the females feeling a little nervous about it though, so I have no problem with them putting light there. Everyone should be able to feel safe, and comfortable while at the park.

That was my first thought too, but I wonder about the chicks? It may be hard to read names with long hair.

Of the 3 "leaders", this one was my favorite. I voted before I looked at the leaders though, so i voted for #12. I will be buying one, I like the laid back feel of it, rather than the over the the top blasts of color.

where is the camera located? I'm guess that the "Rock & Roll" fingers weren't held up for the entire ride. A small bit of posing maybe?

WOW, so jealous. It looks like everyone had a great time! The videos were really cool. I will see everyone on the RWW in May!

Wow, no Bassmasters?

Pretty sure they are under contract with the #9 car for a couple of more years. They will have to buy that out. Probably cheaper to just keep sponsering the car. Then leave when it expires.

I'll want to miss the Endless Summer on ice? Is it a really bad show or something? LOL
