Well.. glad to see I'm not the only one! I've had it on basically every coaster that has been mentioned at KI except Flight Deck. Invertigo, Back lot Stunt Coaster, Diamondback, and Vortex. I typically will see it worsen if I've a headache during the day and I still ride (not painful but just causes me to get tunnel vision very near to complete black out.) And now I have Justin Timberlake stuck in my head, since I've said that term.

LOL!!! That sounds like a good enough reason to go on it Tanslation: YOLO. Don said it hadn't been decided yet a while back. But if I had to guess, it'll be 54". Though, I'm hoping for 52", like Gatekeeper. (other wing riders have 54" though) Final consensus is a big fat, "I don't know." -- And.. I will never understand, as far as I can see, why people have so many, and unique issues with just about any restraint. Maybe I'm weird, but I don't have issues with standups, or OTSRs, or even simple wooden coaster lapbars.. lucky me.. but confused me.

Aside from a good zero-g-roll. Ours won't whip you around :/

I should've specified that I was referring to a parking lot perspective on foot.

Yeah, you can see Delirium over the trees (barely). We will definitely see Banshee!

This is what I noticed shortly after I got home from the announcement and was very excited at the possibility and posted in one of the messy threads we had that night. Though, when I ride an inverted coaster, I'm not really expecting to look straight ahead anyways, I usually look down, and also to the sides (as if I'm in a car passenger seat) And you can usually see forward at an angled view depending on your seat (30-60* to the side) I couldn't ever relate to people complaining about a blocked view with inverts. Oh, and if it's an SLC invert.. then I just try to survive, I couldn't care less about views on those rides.

I don't speak Spanish. No queso espanol todo. (I know ^^) I thought the opposite!

Mean Streak Upgrade for 2014?

Posts in the wrong forum category make it irksome to find and re-find threads that you haven't read yet or haven't posted in (if they aren't in the recently updated list) Also if you wish to go back to an old thread to reference something or see what was said. It's just consideration, is all. -
Heide Park Wing Coaster
calakapepe replied to Ride On_17's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
Inclined Norwegian loop? Sweet! And it twists away from the incline so, more forces! This looks awesome. I agree, it's good to see B&M getting new elements in there/ or at least skewing how the elements are bundled together, rather than placing a series of premade elements one after the other. (not literally) -
Disaster Transport and Wildcat were some of the coolest rides just because of their eccentricity compared to the park's usual high thrill coasters. (But these two are still really fun) I don't agree with Screamin' demon though and I never rode Bavarian Beetle.

It's only been down once for an hour in all my visits this year... that I've seen. I don't monitor the ride when I go, surprisingly.
-
What's the capacity on that thing like compared to a boomerang coaster?
-
Seeing as how we have the same restraint system as Gatekeeper, and how that ride has a height restriction of 52", I really hope Banshee will have a 52" height restriction so that my sister can ride this next year with me! Also, we have enough 54" rides, we need more intermediate between 48 and 54 seeing as there's only WindSeeker and Delirium.

I guess the same reason any ride remnants are still left; they aren't in the way and/ or they are easily hidden. SLASH--what O'Terpy said.

Banshee: World's Longest Inverted Coaster
calakapepe replied to Coasterama's topic in Coming Attractions
Hmm.. or maybe a POV of Eiffel Tower where you just film the elevator associate? Since you have the opportunity to watch them while they talk also.. though that might make for an awkward video.. -
I wish there was a flat that did what shake rattle and roll did... but without the upward tilting arms./// a flat that did what the scrambler did.. but with swinging bobs.

What house are you at??

im Auditioning Friday.. wish me luck? im scared that ill mess up haha. It's not so much an audition as it is just an interview TBH. Auditions are more for their more permanent entertainers. I was a little baffled since I was expecting to be asked to scream and crawl around and such. It only made sense to me since the LEADS auditions had you perform similarly to how you would during employment, when I auditioned. The most "acting" I did was when I was asked, during my interview, what kind of things I would say in that particular haunt. So more of testing the cleverness of your improv? I don't know, you'll be fine as long as you don't do something inconceivably weird or unacceptable. Haha So did you actually get the job after you interviewed? What kind of things did you actually come up with that you would say when they asked you this, if you don't mind sharing? Also, what do you mean by "permanent" entertainers? Are these just entertainers that have been there year after year or what? Sorry about all of the questions, I've just always been curious about the interview process and what it's like. I'm also surprised that you didn't have to crawl around and stuff and act a fool, lol! I did get a job, but I don't feel comfortable giving details that could or could not help you in your process for the job. And when I said "MORE permanent" I meant just that - The people that spend the entire regular season performing shows most everyday; not necessarily returners. (technically no one is guaranteed a spot every year)

^^^ to "make room for next year's attraction" (not an actual word-for-word quote) If it could fit inside, it likely couldn't swing. -- I think the walkway between International Showplace, Diamondback, and Back Lot Stunt Coaster could use 2-3 flat rides.. It's empty. And then maybe we could get some smoothies once again from that abandoned vendor.

I wonder how I don't remember this at all. But thanks for the explanation.

What exactly was Trailer Tower? (pics) What was it for, and why was it pulled away? What year was it? etc. I better be able to see first-hand coaster track on the bed of a truck at least once in my life. -- And it kinda sucks we won't be getting a purple/ pink coaster. Looks like we basically have another red one... from the PICTURES... it seems like we'll have a Superman-ee feel.. to the.. look.

.. If you pretend your hand is a train on a roller coaster as if it were a trackless roller coaster going through loops and hills from the height, that you can possibly reach up, to the bottom of the floor.
