Searched "Let's Play Slender", this is the first video that popped up, though tons of people have reactions. You could even jump just by watching someone play it hahaha BTW: Some profanities are present in the video.

The supports do seem to have a hint of indigo to them and the track has a hint of pink to its purple (magenta?) These aren't normal base colors, so even from people with NO colorblindness, like myself, I wouldn't be surprised to see some debates of such a matter.. Even from men.

im Auditioning Friday.. wish me luck? im scared that ill mess up haha. It's not so much an audition as it is just an interview TBH. Auditions are more for their more permanent entertainers. I was a little baffled since I was expecting to be asked to scream and crawl around and such. It only made sense to me since the LEADS auditions had you perform similarly to how you would during employment, when I auditioned. The most "acting" I did was when I was asked, during my interview, what kind of things I would say in that particular haunt. So more of testing the cleverness of your improv? I don't know, you'll be fine as long as you don't do something inconceivably weird or unacceptable. Haha

Is it inaccurate to call it a pretzel? I know it's not the same as the pretzel on, say, tatsu, but it looks similar to me at least in shape. It looks nothing like Montu's batwing or the one on Vortex IMHO. I've been using Pretzel Knot and so far no one that I have seen has jumped aboard. (Because of the exit and entry paths crossing over one another but the track actually twisting..unlike a pretzel loop; pretzel knot has been used on a coaster before.) But if you join today I can promise you free water at any Kings Island drink vendor! I can promise the water even if you don't join..

I think the colors aren't dark enough, but that's just me.

Our ride is magenta.. Just observing.

That is superstition though. If a coincidence happens and they connect it to the ride name, placing blame on the legend.. I'm sorry, but to me, that is undoubtedly a superstition. 'Less someone can make me believe otherwise, of course. -- No, no one will avoid the ride because of the name, but blaming it in proof of legend is all the same. I rhyme, sometimes.

What would you hate to see go at Kings Island
calakapepe replied to Vortex lover's topic in Kings Island
Taking this topic on a tangent based off THAT. If I were to ever shred my pass, if prompted from the loss of a ride, it'd have to make my visits so unfun that I wouldn't care for the park anymore.. But given the vast number of rides that I adore or have learned to adore.. I don't think one ride removal would make me stop going without first trying out one last season. Now it could come to the point that I'd not get a PASS anymore.. if the park ever becomes so crowded that it's not beneficial and I'd instead buy a one day ticket and get a fast pass plus. -

Same here, when I went to the park by myself, I finally got to ride Vortex in succession! Which I never get to do since most everyone doesn't ride it at all or only will ride once -

I'd be sad to see anything leave! Least of all though: Tower Gardens, Back Lot Stunt Coaster, Firehawk. Tower Gardens, we all know why.. Back Lot Stunt Coaster, although I do think this ride is fun! It does take up a substantial amount of space and has very low capacity (especially with Fast Lane[there weren't many seats to begin with]) Firehawk, again, great ride, but ridership is very slow and the way the park handles loose items for this coaster, I often will just not ride. It's blocking where we could expand out anyways. -- Though most everything else, I'd strongly dislike seeing go away, I'd especially hate the following rides leaving: Vortex - It is my favorite coaster in the park, and if it left that means such a crazy ride, and many inversions in the park would go away. Flight Deck - It's a fun little ride that isn't really in the way of anything from it being on the edge and it's unique; keep it. Adventure Express - This ride is very fun, and a great family ride! It gets a bad rap from many but I think most complaints conflict or are senseless. "It's stupid and boring"... and yet.. "It's too rough" (I call that a fun ride.. and it's not painful for me, man up!) "The ending is stupid".. be that as it may, would you rather take out the theming and/ or have a station towards the floor where you get off and walk up the hill?? Secondly, you know the end of the ride is a lift hill after your first ride and you shouldn't be disappointed with what you expect anymore. -- That's my spiel! -
Behemoth only uses one of the trims sometimes during the day (during the night, its usually trimless). That's good! Didn't know that. Never ridden it though, was just going off of the animation and whether it had them.
-
I don't remember them saying such a thing, but going off how there aren't any trims in the animation and Diamondback had a trim in the animation that held true to the final construction, I'm going to assume there is no trim! Behemoth also held true to the animation. Though, one CAN be added after opening or after testing. -- Is this going to be the first B&M invert without a wingover element? Cause that could be a world record to be prou--.. to have. EDIT: http://rcdb.com/9675.htm?p=37746 OzIris appears to be the only other one not to have one.
-
Ours has more speed and it's trying to be more comfortable than forceful. I'm sure Banshee's pretzel knot will still be pretty fun at the bottom though! How steep does our lift look? Looks almost 40*!
-
If only it did... but still maintained its current capacity
-
I can't decide how steep this first drop is, but it looks pretty good! Looks like 60* to me!
-
Pretzel Knot. The park called it a Batwing

There aren't any thick bars to bang your head on. They are like Gatekeeper's restraints with a pull down lap bar (sort of thing) and a vest restraint (sort of like on Firehawk). Though I imagine the vest problems of them continuously tightening will be solved by next year since management is aware of the issue with GK. -- I do wish our zero-g roll was a bit faster like on Raptor though.. but comparing the renderings, this looks to be as forceful as most B&M inverts so I'm still pleased!
-
And because of that we seem to have a modernized and better version of a B&M invert with a longer length, in-line twist (which probably wouldn't have appeared 'less the wingriders brought that to B&M, interacting loop (which would've been harder with the old lift supports I imagine), and new restraints! -- I imagine this ride will have stacking issues or lift hill speed changes, but seeing as how the lift is about equal the time of the rest of the ride, there could be close to no stacking if people move fast enough and the ride team goes fast enough too.
-
I, for one, and extremely glad to not have a pre-drop. -- Also, it looks as though this ride won't have any trims!! Though, with no MCBR, as awesome as that is, I feel like you will be sitting waiting to get back into the station for a long time, or the chain lift will pull a Flight Deck or a Beast.

Nope, the only down time I experienced with DB was due to weather.

IIRC? (would that have counted as a one-word post)
