  1. Davidw, if you would like to use this edited photo I did for the progression pictures you upload from now on, feel free. This had to be done sooner or later.. it was bothering me.. http://i43.tinypic.com/15gbay1.png
  2. I have two possible reactions: Sarcastic Oh I got it, they're lowering the station and upgrading the lift hill so that they can make the ride a tad bit longer... obviously. Interested Things just got interesting... I'm excited to see what will happen. -- RPG, go! Although, there's no change in story.
  3. That's why I asked for a screen shot. The webcam would be the most sensible way to see the track be lifted into place. They haven't done any major lifting during the weekends.
  4. More of a statement but haha. I can't answer the question of: Why was King Cobra taken down?
  5. If anyone catches the camera while they are lifting track for the dive loop, can you take a screen shot and post it? I'm curious to see the crane bent over that far since It seems to be utilized more for just height than distance.
  6. These haunt reviews can be very uplifting or utterly crushing now that I have this new perspective on my Haunt experience.. *cough* Cool to see how the other houses are doing though, thanks for the review.
  7. I only remember Spongebob vividly. I remember vaguely, the james bond one. It's a shame the moving seats are gone. Those things could really pack a punch and they were really cool!
  8. Still waiting for that day. Not the 400ft one, but.. -- And I'm not sure either. I can't recall them ever doing any huge lifting before haunt, I've seen them lifting those beams for the catwalk crossovers just an hour before haunt, though.
  9. If one didn't see the other post, yours truly was the closest guess. Still a fairly close guess imo. I would hope anyone would know there are 2000lbs in a ton by the time they are at my age.
  10. Someone may have not seen Existential's answer, because it's obviously closer.. *cough*
  11. BeastForever was pretty close.
  12. I am very aware what RCDB says. However, from the start till the final brake run, based off POVs, it is NOT too different. I stated what I was basing the durations off of.
  13. Banshee and Flight Deck will be quite close in ride time.. and the lift hills (according to pov videos and the animation) are also close to the same time stamp.) Of course, Banshee will have more exciting elements, faster speed, and 5 seconds additionally of extra fun cause flight deck has that pre-drop. But still.. Flight deck isn't that terribly short; Think of it as Invertigo's experience.
  14. I wonder why.. haha
  15. Avoiding the Batman related term?
  16. Oh.. awkward. Silly me.
  17. Fantastic pictures! And I didn't know Banshee will have an immelman loop!
  18. You won't get any fresh pics until Friday at the earliest.. Saturday if you want pictures before the setting sun. And that's if someone remembers to capture these pics for you. Unless Don sees your post and can make time for you. In other words, time to wait.
  19. I've always wanted to actually go underneath the station so I will be happy.. once. Then saddened that I have to wait longer haha
  20. Same could be said for TR:TR -- This thread makes me dearly wish KI had some more high-thrill flats.
  21. Wow, now that's a reason to have fast pass! Glad you enjoyed your time! and I'm sure Kings Island will be even greater the next time you get to swing by! Thanks for the trip report!
  22. first loop, second inversion.. In case anyone uses loop and inversion interchangeably.
  23. This is getting a bit off-topic. -- I agree that ridding of Timberwolf could allow for more attractions and a more open access point to Flight Deck. (though that would hinder the access road that goes through there.) On the other hand, it was always cool to have a place where actual bands could come and perform along their tours. I think it has a certain spark to be able to watch your favorite band at one of your favorite amusement parks.. though, if they never get anyone booked, it's better to get rid of it. Flight Deck has been deserving of a more obvious presence since 2009. (and from its opening to 2001)
  24. Considering that the track itself is apart of the structure that holds the track in the air. (Have to always remind myself of that) There is a math in how this is constructed to an extent.
  25. I honestly doubt it's close enough to anything to be a huge noise problem. Maybe Great wolf lodge if you're sitting out on your balcony, but otherwise..
