Making children cry and riding KI's Dodge 'Ems are both things that I would be ashamed to admit!

Favorite ride at Cedar Point.
BavarianBeatle replied to CP&LERR Fan's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
For some reason, our ride count never contains B&M's unless Raptor is a walk on and I have to listen to my kids make fun of the fact that it is covered in bird dung........ -

Throwback: (P)KIcentral's Tribute to the 2004 Season

The "American Idiot" album is that old? Those little kids I took to KI while we listened to it are teenagers? Where does the time go? -
The owl? An obvious nod to the present activities at the Bohemian Grove!

But alas, very few people will tell the Emperor that he is wearing no clothes....... -
What ride would you not ride at Kings island.

Bavarian Beetle..... -
I think that keyhole photo photographers at the entrance have to be miserable standing on that hot pavement for hours directly in the sun.

GateKeeper Restraints
BavarianBeatle replied to Diamondbacker27's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
It does make your collar bones hurt! It is so slow that it does not generate enough positive G's in the inversions to hold you in the seat and, as a result, dumps your shoulders into the restraint while you are inverted. If it's a "family ride," my family said, "We got the credit, now let's go ride something good." -
Six Flags Great Adventure tips
BavarianBeatle replied to TTD-120-420's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
Skip Superman Ultimate Blight and that horrible Skull Mountain thing. Their Mine Train is very good, as is KA. Nitro and Bizarro are two B&M's that did not put me to sleep and their indoor wild mouse is interesting..... If you ride El Toro, prepare yourself for ride ops who staple you to the point that you have visible bruises for a week! -
Dear God, please make it stop!

Since Shoot the Rapids is such a bad ride, which B&M water rides do you like better?

Ain't that the truth!

Mr. Helbig is insulting the "talkers."

The best part is riding a good ride. After Cedar Fair teased WindSeeker and Dinosaurs Alive as thrill rides, I reserve judgment until I have ridden the new ride.

Dayton Air Show Crash

I was at the show in 2007 when Jim Leroy was killed. My prayers are with the families of the two victims and all those suffering as a result of today's events. -
There would have been an ambulance, the queue would have been cleared, and it would have made the news. Fake story!

"Ever ride Tornado at Stricker's Grove in the very back?..." Yes, I enjoy Tornado, especially in the back! As for my least favorites, I have to go with Superman: Ultimate Flight at Great Adventure and Vortex at Carowinds, for steel coasters. Both are short, forceless and ungodly boring. As for wooden coasters, Mean Streak, hands down! I'm not a fan of trimming rides until they feel like someone needs to get out and push.
