Son of Beast/ Flight Deck Over Haul

Then they made the park more "family friendly." http://www.crainscleveland.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20070205/REG/70202030/1071/2020# Like they are doing to KI,.... http://www.daytondailynews.com/business/kings-island-strategy-family-focused-1367344.html -
Do you fall out on Flight of Fear? But that's a lot faster...with the hangtime on Vortex it feels like you'd easily fall out. Sometimes there are park maps, coins or other debris on the floors of Vortex trains. Each of those items survived at least one trip on the ride without restraints and did not fall out.

Interesting clues.... Very interesting clues....... I have a theory about what you are hinting at, but if I ever said it on here, time would prove that I was all wet.

The former CEO said that there would be an announcement at Coastermania. However, his idea of a major announcement may or may not be the same as yours or mine. -

Kentucky Kingdom

Based upon some of the stories I've read about the Kentucky Fair Board, I wouldn't doubt this for a second. Yes, I'm back.... -

Hiring people with the competence to make a decision in less than three years > what CF has now!
-
Yes, this has been seen more than once. That's why I'm interested in reading people's opinions on how KI's actions may or may not be similar and/or may or may not result in similar outcomes. Hence the vagueness in my original post.

Who said anything about Geauga Lake, besides you? Edit: The only thing that would cause me to believe that they were closing the dry side of KI would be a statement from CF stating that they had no intention of doing so.

Disappearing rides and waterpark expansions. Kinda reminds me of something I've seen before....
-
Don't they test those rides with handless water dummies that don't fall out? And she had ridden before? What's the rule there, "You can ride, except when you cant?" And are there any stories out there about any lives being saved on a B&M floorless coaster (like Kraken) solely because someone was able to hang on by one hand? Ridiculous discrimination by Sea World!

I always liked King Cobra. Especially when it had the water in the helix.

Anyone who is old enough to remember him from WTUE in Dayton.....

It was in the area where Charlie Brown's Windup is presently located. It was on the right after you passed First Aid and entered Hanna Barbera Land. .

1987. The year I graduated from High School. And I believe that the game in that picture was Whack a Mole, which was formerly Whack a Bat. Look at the number of people playing!

I'm going to guess 1972, just to be different. (But its more likely 1973.)

1972.... KCKC construction. Or early in the 2008 season!

Thank you for the memories. My children enjoyed seeing many things that I have told them about but they couldn't visualize. --Beatle, who sill misses the bruises on his thighs from The Racer in its original form

What went wrong? The park has been acquired by companies that have cared far more about upcharge attractions, 3-point challenges, and price increases than about the overall guest experience.

Thanks for the pictures. I loved that area of the park when I was a kid.
