  1. I always feel like riding a coaster with a Fast Lane purchaser is more like going to a Reds game and sitting next to, and eating the same hot dog as, a person who paid an extra $50 to jump to the front of the ticket and concession lines. I don't remember where I read this, but my favorite quote about Fast Lane was,"Fast Lane is the parks' way of gouging impatient people."
  2. The same way I feel. Most people are so mean on here. If they don't like the topic the should just not reply. Oh, go jump in a lake!!!
  3. I've been temporarily stopped more times than I can count, but my only evac was from The Beast in either 1986 or 1987. The lake looked very nice on the walk down!
  4. No. It's because they want to make the line appear longer than it is so that they can sell more Fast Lane passes!
  5. The one I always liked was: An expert is someone who knows very, very much about very, very little.
  6. I have continued looking and still have found no published court decisions regarding this specific issue. I strongly suspect that parks settle these cases because the plaintiffs' damages are very small (maybe a refund of what they paid for their tickets, gas, hotel rooms, etc.) and the legal fees required to defend the lawsuits would cost far, far more!
  7. I have gone to KI many times and found it to be crowded to the point that I choose not to wait in the lines. And on every one of those occasions, I have found that watching and listening to the general public is very entertaining!
  8. Do you have a link or a citation for this precedent? I have been unable to locate any analogous decisions one way or the other.
  9. Cedar Point has been running TV ads in the Cincinnati market as well.
  10. If those rules and policies discrimated against the Plaintiffs in this case based upon their disabilities, yes. That question will ultimately have to be answered by a judge or a jury.
  11. Interesting case.... The Plaintiffs, to start with, need expert witnesses to testify that they can ride safely.
  12. I have no idea, but I would guess it would be a ride that is not open on Haunt Nights.
  13. What a creepy coincidence that the Anonymous Raw G.M. Returned tonight. Someone read about what was going to happen on RAW on the internet, apparently. The tv ads in the area where RAW appears always provide a great deal of information about the matches, which then appears on wrestling fan sites. For example, when RAW appears in Cincy later this month, Big Johnny will be back in the ring!
  14. In the past, some have found this to be helpful:
  15. It's hard to believe that it's been six years to the day since the 2006 accident. Time passes quickly.
  16. Seen it while on AE. Do you have to be rude in almost every post you do? Sorry to point this out, but riding AE does not constitute the "maintenance or carpentry experience" you were asked about. Please answer the question.
  17. And they must find the money to pay for it.....
  18. Because, of course, what the park says is always 100% true....
  19. Red Roof in Milan has always been nice. Very quiet, breakfast with donuts, and an indoor pool if it rains. About $60 a night.
  20. Then they made the park more "family friendly." http://www.crainscle...02030/1071/2020# Like they are doing to KI,.... http://www.daytondai...ed-1367344.html I may be misreading your post but its not fair to compare GL to KI. GL was a park situated very close to the flagship park of the franchise. GL was a park that had coasters shipped out to make it "family friendly." Currently, CF is going throug ha "family friendly" process of improving food services and keeping families in the park. Not sure you can honestly say that a companies decision from years ago is the same as the new decisions the park company is making... I wasn't comparing the two parks. I was merely pointing out that CF tends to use (almost word for word) the same talking points over and over. I honestly think that every time they use the term "family friendly," it should be followed by "unless your family happens to like roller coasters."
