  1. I agree and would not be surprised to see this happen along with the re-opening of the International Restaurant now that the elevator has been installed. That would be an epic place to watch said night time show. This plus a new dark ride are my predictions for next year
  2. Purely based on online video as I have not ridden either ride, Guardian was a bit of a let down but Voyage looks amazing. I love the theme. Between this and Magic Mountain's new area, Steam Punk is the in thing for parks in California this year.
  3. I don't know how many steps I took, but my legs feel like I ran several miles.
  4. I too am very excited about the train tour. I have wanted to take it sine I first read about the one a few years ago.
  5. If 500 are attending then that's way too many for the IR. That is true. Is the figure accurate?
  6. I am hoping for one of the meals to be in the International Restaurant. Its been several years since I have been in there. It and the Picnic Grove would be the places least disruptive to normal business.
  7. Are there any details out about where/what the food will be?
  8. The weather is not looking too good this weekend. That could work for or against us...Hopefully it will be enough to make the crowds a little lighter without completely washing out the event.
  9. So there was an agreement that KD could not build a new B&M but could relocate one there? I had not heard this before but it certainly explains some things about their coaster line up.
  10. I read elsewhere that T3's trains are (rumored to be) arriving this week. Also Cyclos has been seen testing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OMO6RxtynYM
  11. ...and those of us a little older than that were just the right age when the NES first came on the scene and introduced many of those classic characters. I love this idea and am happy to see Nintendo getting creative with the use of it's IP.
  12. Thanks! Just what I was looking for.
  13. I went to the website to check the itinerary for Coasterstock and the event has been removed from the event listings...Is there another way to view the info I am looking for?
  14. The most vivid memory I have of the place is being upset about having to watch some show that my parents wanted to see and a clown sitting down by me on some steps to cheer me up. I do remember riding the Dragon Coaster as well.
  15. I went there once back in the 80s when I was a kid. I do not remember a whole lot about it.
  16. I always go with aliens...or Templars. It's always one of the two.
  17. It would be worth it for the two Runs. All other things aside they have to really good coasters... and coming soon and SLC
  18. That is good to hear. She is the one I feel for the most in this whole mess.
  19. How is Pat? She looks great in Dan's Facebook pics.
  20. It's probably a good thing it is raining and the crowds are light...Opening day gremlins can really hurt when there aren't many coasters up and running to begin with.
  21. I was going to KK tomorrow, but then KI anounced the Super Hero Sunday so I changed my plans. Then KI cancels Super Hero Sunday so I briefly considered KK again but after seeing what rides aren't ready yet I will wait a few weeks and stick KI. Life is full of compromises and changed plans.
  22. Ah Carrollton..That is my hometown...The passes are being advertised down in Georgetown at Kroger for $59.95. The sign was posted right on the front door.
