I'm going tomorrow to take advantage of the season pass special. The weather is supposed to be perfect. It should be a good day.

I tried to get two different fountains at KK to fill up my free bottle I got with my season pass and neither would work. I am not sure if it was something about that bottle or if they just were both broken.

Thanks for the TR. I have been wanting to go to Camden Park myself for awhile. I am finally going to get the chance next weekend as we are stopping there on the way to Kings Dominion.

The really telling thing would be to know the attendance figures. I wonder if those will be released. I would assume they will be if the numbers are good or at least manage to beat what Six Flags did.

I'm not trying to start anything...but your avatar pic is of a ghost from a former haunted attraction...

I was at the fair and KK on the last day. Curiously we were given free fair tickets and parking right before we were to pay at the gate...I am still not sure what that was about. Kentucky Kingdom had a decent crowd. The last time I was there during the fair was in 2007 and even with no admission back then the place was completely dead. We bought two meals, a few drinks and a stuffed sea lion for my daughter. Hopefully other folks were spending some money too. I really do want that place to succeed. Now I need to figure out how to squeeze in one more trip to get that 2015 season pass deal

I was at the park yesterday and watched the Sea Lion splash show with my family. It was very fun to watch. The animals were all rescues that would have otherwise died in the wild and they seemed happy and well cared for. I see no problem with the show.

Is there way to pay in full without the payments for a cheaper price?

I seriously doubt you would ever see KI "RMC" Beast or Racer...There is absolutely no need to. They are not problematic and or poorly maintained. SOB would have been a far more likely candidate and we saw what happened there. When I say I would like to see an RMC at KI I am talking about a built from scratch new ride, which is what I thought we were discussing. I don't care if you call it wood or steel, as long as it is fun. As far as a traditional woodies are concerned, I would love a GCI twister like Thunderhead. I love that ride. For steel how about Chance? A bigger/longer version of Lightning Run would be epic, especially if you could work in some of KI's hilly terrain (ok maybe something like that already exists in Pittsburgh, but that is a long drive).

Possibly, but I doubt Dan would be operating a park in AL.

But Pat and Dan were there in 2012... Indeed. I meant 2013. -

I am excited for this addition, and perhaps more excited simply to be excited about visiting Holiday World again. I love the place but the whole legal battle was very off putting to me and I have not nor do I plan to visit this season. I have only visited once since all that drama went down, Holiwood Nights 2012. I had a great time as usual but the park was very much missing something without Pat and Dan. I am also very happy to see the next generation of Kochs becoming more involved in leadership at Holiday World. I am sure the future will be bright and I hope the family can eventually resolve all their differences. -
Disney has gum banned as far away as the Orlando International Airport. I get it, but wow. That is some pull.

Poor Togo.

i won't miss that arcade. The bigger one just down the way made it seem kind of redundant to me. There was never much going on in there when I would walk through it.

Crass but true. I almost caught that in action in a picture. I did not realize it until I got home and looked at them on a computer, but a lady in the front row was obviously trying to prevent a wardrobe malfunction.

I noticed a variation of that song was used as an intro to the Flintstone's Christmas Special. I was both proud and ashamed I knew that -
Kennywood had a skip to the line last year when I was there. I don't know if if they still do or not. I think they called it a Coaster Tour or something like that. They also had separate ones for flat rides and water rides. You were given a hour long window to ride each coaster at predetermined times. It worked pretty well and and was not terribly expensive. I am glad we did it. The park was busy and they were not running multiple trains on the coasters.

cool. I hope to be there

I agree 100%.

I see your point about the ride length causing stacking. I still think another couple ride ops checking restraints would help tremendously in getting that line moving.
