I just think about a recent installation like Firehawk. Can you imagine them now going to the trouble of having landscaping, water, and/or live animals?

I am just stunned when I see how elaborate that area was. And the darned thing is that I was there and don't remember it!

Great pics, and I really appreciate you adding mine to the album. I've got a question about this pic: There were really live monkeys around Screamin' Demon?? I am in awe of this part of the park (along with LCS). The theming and the landscaping looks out of this world. Question: What is the building in the background? Not sure of what angle I'm looking at. Wish I had a ticket to this place they call Kings Island I see in these old pics!!

....make multiple 140 mile round trips to the park during a season....alone!!

Interestingly enough, Wikipedia is reporting that the name has already been changed back to Amazon Falls for the 2008 season.

Thanks for the reply, Interpreter. Now that I think about it, this might be why I didn't try to go opening day last year. I just waited until a weekday during the summer as my first trip.

You should believe it! I'm speaking for myself, and probably everyone else on this site. We are truly spoiled to have these great, otherwise unobtainable, photos of the park.
