  1. Could they really reopen the coaster after they've been found guilty for various injuries, the ride has been found to be flawed, and just about everyone thinks its unsafe?
  2. What is the rule on 16-and-over jobs? I would be 15 at the time of the job fair, but be turning 16 in March. Would I still be able to apply for, for example, rides? There's no clear answer on their site. (yes, I know, ask the park- but I've emailed them and gotten no answer.)
  3. I am surprised that DB lacks seatbelts. Unlike some, the presence of seatbelts does not bother me at all. In fact, I welcome having them on any sort of freefall.
  4. So they just stuck on extra supports without testing it on a computer model? Wow... And it's Roller Coaster Corporation of America, DDN. http://www.rcca.com/
  5. I love those pictures- American Eagle is always so pretty!
  6. But if the antlers made him look fat, he might pout.
  7. Paramount was getting better in their later years (TRTR, IJ:ST). Granted, they didn't follow the KECO themed areas very well (why on earth was TRTR in Rivertown?!), but they did at least try. CF does seem to be trying, though, and that's a good thing.
  8. Unless CF installs theming equal to or better than Paramount's theming (which I doubt will happen), I would certainly call it a downgrade. But that's a discussion for another thread.
  9. KI should get one, considering we are getting a downgraded kids area and no new attraction, but apparently we aren't.
  10. I could see WoF getting it, that park is incredibly dark at night anyway. It'd be great in the Africa area near Zulu... if I'm remembering the park correctly.
  11. I hope they figure out a way to make the extention cords less obvious. It looked great at night, but not-so-great during the day.
  12. They've owned it since 1995, so I was referring to it being a "legacy CF park" because it was pre-Paramount purchase, and they owned it for almost 11 years before the Paramount purchase.
  13. Have you ever considered having KIC members on as special guests?
  14. The only really bad NU name was Fairly Odd Coaster, imo. I don't think BB will change, since, using the same logic, all CF parks could simply be renamed Cedar Fair. That'd save on printing, too. And some legacy CF parks have different names- Soak City, Knotts Soak City, Oceans of Fun, etc.
  15. Or install a tad bit of soundproofing so the sound doesn't echo and sound so tinny.
  16. They do sometimes. Quite a bit of the time, none of the spiels work. This is also when the saucer sounds are turned off.
  17. OOPS! I love how it has the stars, one of Paramount's logo traits. Maybe the same people are responsible for that as this?
  18. Are they any thicker than last years passes? I can't imagine how such a thin plastic card can make it through the whole season in one piece- every single other plastic card I have is thicker.
  19. Whatever they do, I hope they do it well. Even though SDatHC wasn't great, it's better than the only themed ride CF has built- Disaster Transport.
  20. Which is why I said I haven't seen it closed. Others might have, but I haven't. Either way, it's open on time more often than The Beast.
