  1. I saw some really obviously inappropriate shirts at CP. Is it really that hard for the admissions people to turn them away? I've seen them do that before.
  2. I mean the work lights. The first time I rode the "new" version, all the work lights in the attraction were on. Yesterday, just one of the work lights in the Repair Bay was on, and a few were on in the stairway. Most of the ride was dark, except the main "theming" room with the helix. I'll see today if the lights are on in there. Yes, it's an exterior door. Apparently it was supposed to be open. I'm guessing someone got away with not closing their restraint? If you're referring to the red and blue chaser lights, those are still on.
  3. They don't consider KI to be a theme park. They refer to Snoopy's Big Bow-Wow at CP as "the midwest's ONLY theme park ice skating show!" I didn't even know CP was considered to be one...
  4. I wish I was there that day... TTD hasn't been open at all today (closed around 4pm yesterday), and WildCat is down too.
  5. Have you been injured by the ride? No? Then you have NO room to talk. Rode once last year. One year later, my back and neck STILL hurt, even though I've been to the chiropractor multiple times. Similar incidents have been reported by other riders.
  6. Figured this might save some threads, since there seem to be quite a few threads of this type lately... and, it's a REALLY good excuse to vent. Which I need after TTD's been closed during my entire visit to CP. -Our season passes. Why are they so thin? Why does the Cedar Point PP have a picture of the Eiffel Tower, but ours doesn't? Why does it refer to FearFest? -Being stapled into wooden coasters. I haven't gotten stapled into Mean Streak or Blue Streak at Cedar Point. Then I realized that I always get stapled at KI. And it made me sad. -Security issues. I was shocked to see no line jumping at CP. -Trim brakes. I laughed when I saw a sign at CP that advertised a energy drink. It said, "Ride Warrior Approved Additive! Increases G-Forces! Prevents Trim Brake!" Cedar Fair, only you can prevent trim brakes. -Loud music. The music seems especially loud in The Beast's entry plaza this year, and in the shows. I'd rather not lose my hearing, kthx. -The way ERT is handled. I've seen people show the employees Kroger cards and get into the ERT. In fact, one time, I totally forgot to bring my pass and left it with my mom on I-Street. They didn't even notice that I didn't have it! -Spitting. I find this absolutely digusting. And, if I know that it was you that spit on my, I WILL make sure that you're talked to by security.
  7. Something wrong with the ride? You mean something worse than usual?
  8. Okay, I went again today and the lights in the Repair Bay were off (except the one directly above the path leaving the queue room). The lights in the DISPATCH MASTER TRANSPORT room and the stairway were on, and the loading station's door was open to let light in. The lights in the ride were off, except in the main helix room. I hope they move the posters from the main queue room into the Repair Bay. I really enjoyed the diagram of the vehicle, complete with the caption pointing at the trunk saying, "Enough room for all your luggage and your inlaws!" There's also a small sign on the old entrance pointing to the new one.
  9. Okay, I am still in shock over that CP did to Disaster Transport this year. First, they moved the entrance down behind Space Spiral. You enter directly into the main queue room through the former emergency exit doors. And, the lights are on in the queue room! Crypt, what? The lights, in fact, are on all the way through the rest of the queue... and the ride! The only dark sections seem to be the tunnels.
  10. I can't see this catching on at that price.
  11. Ah, you just brought up another pet peeve of mine- not wearing a shirt at all! Unless you're in Boomerang Bay, it's not appropriate.
  12. I once saw a guest at Worlds of Fun his pants literally around his ankles. And he was NOT wearing shorts underneath. No joke.
  13. I've noticed that a certain type of shirt has been gaining popularity with KI's male guests: sleeveless shirts with the sides ripped open, therefore exposing everything. I don't care if you're fit or not- I don't want to see it! Kthx. Discuss. (Don't even get me started on certain female attire...)
  14. And wouldn't Viacom be bitter?
  15. I love Flight of Fear's. The theming is awesome.
  16. Can I vote for SoB as the best SBNO coaster ever?
  17. You Tube is not two words, Kings Island...
  18. Yes, I expect it to be gone. It's a huge liability, and it has a bad reputation with a lot of people. Remember Hercules? And yes, I would love to see it removed.
  19. It's a dirty pool... that smells like vomit.
  20. "or enjoyed before a hot dog from the ironically-named local fast food chain Coney Island." Do they mean Skyline?
  21. Was that yesterday? I saw that... eww. It seems to be worse some times than others. Yesterday, I noticed the "Drop Zone" and "Top Gun" logos that you can see inside the building behind Diamondback's brake turn.
