It was my favorite ride when I wasn't tall enough to ride The Racer. I am sure you know this, but you can still ride one in Indiana at Indiana Beach! http://www.indianabeach.com/pages/indianabeach_rides_thrill
  2. Webcam link. http://www.cedarpoint.com/public/fun/webcams/index.cfm It does look significantly bigger than the one at KI from the pictures.
  3. Well I am disappointed in Q for trying to take more money from the company that is trying to keep it's head above water and not fall victim of the same fate that Six Flags dealt with a year or so ago. Could things be better managed and better decisions made, probably. Oh, and by the way how much of the unit holders money is being throw out the window that could be distributed to them for legal fees and resources CF is having to use to deal with Q's accusations and threats. Seems to me Q is just greedy and not thinking of the long term. How about they compromise and ask for a smaller distribution this year and when more debt is paid off and the company is more stable next year ask for a higher distribution. That seems like a better option than running CF in the ground. How much do you calculate your shares will be worth then Q? So is Q doing anything illegal here?
  4. Even after the Kinzel contract is over, I don't see him moving out of his house and retiring somewhere in Florida. I see him staying involved someway in the company.
  5. I assumed it is for a roller coaster. Won't hurt my feelings if they an take that blue track to KI for a new coaster!
  6. Yep, you never know what he is going to write. Always on the edge of my seat waiting to see what ole Terpy thought of next. Thanks for keeping it lively Terp!
  7. lol! No I just posted all the photos that I took. Don't know what the tent are for. Staging area for Wind Seeker deliveries possibly? IDK just guessing...

  9. So, did some one get a tent confused with a tarp? Those tents are no where near SOB. Thanks for sharing jrose430!
  10. A very small amount of people in the world have died because there dreams were so intense. I agree with Terpy who would be able to confirm that for us, and secondly, I have hit the ground many of times in dreams. Most of the time it is because I have fallen out of the bed, but a few not, but I can tell you I have fallen and hit the ground in a dream and am still here to tell you if they myth was true I would not be on KIC today!
  11. You have to load them to like photobucket or flicker and then use the link to that photo to share. It is free to upload to that site. http://photobucket.com/ http://www.flickr.com/
  12. Last night I had a dream I was at KI for the opening of Wind Seeker. I was in line and talking to some guy who was from Evansville IN. Not sure why I was told that, but seemed important in the dream. There were 3 line queues to get on the ride, which I did not understand. For some reason our line was not moving and 3 ride cycles ran and we did not get on even though we were next in the line to be seated. I told the other guy in line with me that we were just going to walk in and take a seat on the next ride cycle. While waiting for that next cycle I took some pictures on my phone to post on KIC. Before we could get on the ride I was woken up.
  13. This is the first time I have had a chance to watch all the videos in this Trip Report. Truly awesome! Thanks fro sharing with us Jesse!
  14. Indiana Beach has not posted it's calendar for 2011 yet. HUMM!!
  15. Speaking of which, how busy are the parks during the Gold Member's ERT before the park opens? I was at the park about 6 times last season for a weekday ERT. Usually went on a Monday or Friday. I could get 6 to 8 rides in during that 1/2 hr before the ROTB filled the queue.
  16. Well I think Q get's a "F" for worst investor of the year. Q is creating negative press and lowering the price of the shares of FUN by their actions. No matter what CF may or may not be doing, Q's actions may be just as damaging to the success of CF and in turn FUN.
  17. Coney Mall is going to look sweet in 2011!
  18. So they said all that, but said nothing besides the names of all the parks!
  19. Long time for us, but seems like a short time to get WS operational!
  20. Might have it back up by then, who knows!
  21. I agree with that. At the same time though, if having that webcam running will get people excited about the ride and bring in another, lets say 1000 more guests to the park next season is it worth the investment to get it running? You're absolutely right. Talk about a cheap way to promote the ride. Also, I'm sure most KICentralers would check the view out regularly. I know I would. I think most of the people that would check the webcam would be people already planning to come to KI next year. I'm sure several of us on here (myself included) would check it often but it doesn't seem to me that having it up in January would do them much good as far as attracting casual clients. But just maybe a very small fraction of your "most of the people" will come sooner in the season because of having the webcam. They will possibly have such a great time that they make plans to make second trip instead of just 1 trip! This would also be why KI is on FB, Twitter, and have a Blog. The webcam is just one more tool to attract more customers.
  22. A bunch of KIC'ers were at the park a few years ago till 1am, but not for a bobble head.
  23. I agree with that. At the same time though, if having that webcam running will get people excited about the ride and bring in another, lets say 1000 more guests to the park next season is it worth the investment to get it running?
  24. Not sure that is it, but I am wondering if they feel it would not get much viewership to be worth their time? I think it would get quite a bit of attention.
  25. It would ne nice to have a cam on the construction site, especially once they start erecting steel. If I was you I would give the park a call! I am pretty sure their contact info is still on the site. Let us know what they say.
