Something big announced 3-18-11?
I experienced the same exact thing as you! Shaggy might have stumbled on to something that was not ready to be seen yet. EDIT: Now there is a Math and Science Day Banner.

I am not seeing anything on the website now?

Fixing themes/lighting at KI... THE CRYPT
I have always wondered why the queue for crypt was so dark. I think some dim pathway lighting would be sufficient.

New Park Map Teaser
If they have no plans to open SOB this season I don't see it being on the map, even if they have plans for a renovation. IndyGuy has been wrong many times before and probably will be again, so I guess we will just have to wait and see how this plays out.

Windseeker & Coney Mall Construction Continues
I can count on 1 hand the number of German restaurants we have in Indy. I think the Germain cuisine would go over well at KI for everyone visiting.

Holiday World GM in Accident
You can see a video on the local Fox affiliate site in the link below. They show his vehicle after the crash. I think he is lucky to be alive! http://tristatehomepage.com/fulltext/?nxd_id=252506 Very small video frame for some reason?

Windseeker & Coney Mall Construction Continues
I was just thinking that the ride experience on Racer is going to be different this year, especially on Red Racer! It was different for me once FH was installed as well. I almost always look to see if it is running and see how crowded it is back there although impossible to see the queue for FH.

Sounds like you know those people Terpy!

Are you going to KI opening day?
With 4 hrs of driving there and back I like to make sure I spend as much time as possible to get the most out of my travel efforts.

Scariest Ride at KI
I thought about Crypt as well, since most of the GP does not know what they are getting on, and in my experience think it is a coaster.

Scariest Ride at KI
Awesome story FOFFreak. Thanks for sharing. Glad you were able to be tricked out of your fear!

Lake Winnie
I have never been there, but the coaster Cannonball is a John Allen, so I am sure it would be a treat to ride. If you go we want a full PTR! http://www.lakewinnie.com/home/attractions/thrillrides/cannonball/

Windseeker & Coney Mall Construction Continues
does that picture imply that they've already ripped out some pavers they just put down- or are those the old ones from that area? Hadn't really thought about it, but I am guessing those are the older ones. Maybe they did not match the new ones?

Windseeker & Coney Mall Construction Continues
You can see what they are building on the lower right hand corner of the webcam in this picture the park just uploaded to Facebook. http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10150199820643368&set=a.226729858367.174830.155893938367&theater

Scariest Ride at KI
It's good to see I'm not the only one with that opinion. The only thrill I get from it is trying to flip the ball over. A lot of people have responded Drop Tower, but to me that's nothing compared to Skyflyer. Looking straight down at the ground with nothing between you and it but a harness is the scariest thing in the park! The scariest part of Skyflyer for me is when the floor falls out from under you and you fall forward until the harness catches you.

Are you going to KI opening day?
I plan to be there for ERT and spend the whole day! Can't wait to see everyone there!

Flashback Till Opening 2011
I'm surprised that you would phrase your question like that knowing how it might be answered. I was hoping it would be answered before a certain Terpy showed up!

Scariest Ride at KI
I choose Flight of Fear because being a first time rider you don't know what you are getting into, even in the station (can't see the rest of the ride and getting to see the launch,) also with the theming still in place it can be quite scary for riders. As for a flat I have to choose Delirium. I did not ride it the first few times I went to KI after it opened. It just didn't look like a ride I would enjoy and was very intimidating. After getting on and ridding it, I loved it!

Windseeker & Coney Mall Construction Continues
I had that thought as well, but then also couldn't imagine a structure like that put in an area that might be bottlenecked already. Maybe it will be mobile and can be moved into a better location once built? Just a thought?

Flashback Till Opening 2011
I was thinking that I didn't remember the arch being that long as seen in the picture, but now that you mentioned that it was shortened I feel my memory is not as bad as I had thought. My biggest memory of the arch walkway was it being cooler under there on those hot days! Anybody remember what year they took it down completely?

Windseeker & Coney Mall Construction Continues
I am looking at the webcam this morning and seeing no evidence of a crane (unless out of view) to start erecting WS. Making me nervous!
