I'm so stupid, I thought this was the foundation for FoF for like ten minutes. I realized that Son of Beast was there. I remember being at the park and seeing that foundation in a similar state and was totally stumped on what it was.

This has crossed my mind sense we learned that Beast ERT is no more. I wonder if that walkback will make a return?

Yeah with only getting about 20 minutes of darkness when KI is only open till 10 PM (which is the majority of the time.) I am not sure very many people can enjoys the investment it would take!

I could be wrong, but I would assume that Steel Hawg is not part of the project. It was being built before Morgan RV bought the park. This will be the third season for SH.

Since WS is part of the new ERT. I will probably want to head there first. Might want to add an option of "Go where the KIC group is going!"

Put everyone back in the poor house again is what i think. I don't see why the government does not see that the gas prices control the country and do something about it. I know their hands might be some what tied, but if we went back to $1.50 gas the country would have money to spend on other things besides their gas tank and the economy would bounce back by spending money in the community!

That may be true, but they are not going to put "surprise" on the fountains and not tell people what it is. I assume Pepsi gives HW as nice price reduction on their product to serve it there. I also assume part of their ticket price is your drink fee. I have heard that you have to pay a nice fee for a Coke or Pepsi contract to serve in your business.

I dont see them going to RC even if they offer more nickels. RC is just not going to sell as good as Coke and Pepsi.

I think KI would have a Coke contract burring a whole in a filling cabinet somewhere!

I think placement is going to be a big factor on ridership. It does look cool and will probably try it if not a big up charge.

Hum, I did not know this was a popular attraction at other parks. Thanks for sharing! Yes, I would love them to invest money into the existing rides and spruce up the place. When Morgan RV first purchased the place and painted the kiddie rides and water slides I was very excited that they were going to continue over the next several season and really get it looking good again. So far that has not happened. Hopefully they can get things looking new and not run down.

I don't see 200 to 400 vendors even showing up to an expected crowd of 1000.

I know you are kidding, but Dave's point is, unless there is a very big per caps spending going on, you are not going to make very much money.

I think I read their page wrong, it states 3rd park area, not parking area. I thought they were expanding into the parking lot. I am still not sure where this new attraction will be? The Steel Hawg Midway? I am assuming the entrance plaza they speak of is the one next to Steel Hawg?

I was really not expecting anything new from IB this season. I am very surprised they will be expanding into a parking lot even further. (Steel Hawg already took away some parking spaces.)

Plus, I would guess they are probably only sending out the ones that are cracked and tearing.

While we learn from mistakes like that, I firmly believe every accident is preventable. I agree, but we often learn the lesson to late!
