  1. Comparison. Image from link above. It looks like the snake is idendtical except for the eyes. The only other change is the fangs.
  2. I was at the dry park yesterday. The amount of people that were just rude, inconsiderate, and thought they were the only ones there was overwhelming. We don't go too often on Saturdays, but that was our opportunity this weekend. Definitely not the fault of the park, for was saw security being visible in the park. People are definitely less considerate these days. We didn't stay as long as we were planning on, because we couldn't handle any more of the rude and inconsiderate people.
  3. That is so cool. I also agree. This might be my favorite show every at KI. I would rather watch it than PT Encore. One of my favorite parts of the show is the drum line guys.
  4. Rode it for the first time today since it reopened. Anyone else notice them sending the trains out faster? Like, we got dispatched before the train in front of us was down the first hill. I thought it was a fluke, but they had sent the one behind us before we got the brake run. Is the blocking different or are the ride ops doing something different?
  5. Tried to interview the Dippin Dots guy to see what's going to go in the Vortex spot. They declined an interview.
  6. I do like the little 50th toothpick skewer.
  7. I am not sure @Emily48098 is much worried about the act itself in her post.
  8. Who remembers this entrance sign?
  9. Kings Island’s coaster, Diamondback, celebrated a milestone this evening, giving its 20 millionth ride. At 7:01 p.m. 23-year-old Grace Timmons from Seymour, Indiana became the coaster’s lucky rider. She was visiting the park with her friends. Timmons received Diamondback-themed gifts to commemorate the event. See more details about Diamondback, construction photos, and more on KIC here: https://kicentral.com/rides/diamondback/ Additional discussions about this event here: https://kicentral.com/forums/index.php?/topic/42476-diamondback-20-millionth-rider See her reaction here:
  10. We are hoping to be good now. Thanks to @malem he found the SQL issue last night and upgraded the forums to the current version while he was at it.
  11. The ridership the last hour must not have justified the cost, even thought I do not think a ride should be closed before the park closes. I also do not think a lot of the restaurants should close 45 min to an hour before the park closes either.
  12. Thousands came to Kings Island on July 9th at the Timberwolf Amphitheatre to see classic 80s bands Berlin and A Flock of Seagulls. This summer’s concert series marks the most concerts at Kings Island since 1995, and the first time that park admission is not required to attend a concert. Plus, parking is free after 5:00 p.m. Next up at the park is 3 Doors Down with Special Guest Candlebox on Friday, July 22. More information and tickets are available on the park’s website at visitkingsisland.com.
  13. SDL is an awesome coaster. I rode it 1 year ago today. I can't wait to get back to Hershey. Skyrush was the only credit I did not get at that park. If they improved their food offerings, they could be as good as KI. It is a good Intamin park as well. The Intamin coasters there are very fun, (as long as they are open of course.)
  14. Definitely does not look like it matches the photo. The green onions should be on every plate like presented.
  15. You may have noticed this week the forums have been down occasionally. @malemhas identified the issue in the SQL database and plans to apply a fix tonight. Hopefully that resolves the issues we have been seeing this week. Thanks for your patients as we identify the problem and apply the fix.
  16. That is cool. With some of the more extreme coasters they have at Hershey, I'm sure they're going to let RMC go wild!
  17. I have been at Carowinds the last 2 days. I sure would like some of the cheddar they add on top of the mac and cheese at Carowinds on ours at Kings Island. I think it would put it a little over the top. At least for my tastes.
  18. LL is an S&S and more forgiving than KET. Most definitely try it.
  19. Kids are used to having a device on their hand at all times now. I don't think the old PT or Smurfs would be able to fly today, but maybe I am wrong.
  20. I still think they would need to have an interactive piece like the guns to keep the younger guests engaged.
