I can't say I paid any attention Saturday evening on my way out.

Opening weekend seems to have been a big hit for fun at Kings Island. Yeah, Adventure Port is not totally together yet, but it didn't seem to stop the ones that were there from really enjoying the nice weather and a weekend of Kings Island.

My only critique would be to fix the bump at the bottom of the last hill before you do the turn around. You fix that and it is butter smooth.

I did miss the beef option.

I don't even like the name preview. Especially if the new stuff is not ready to be previewed. I think a better option would have been for the park communications department to invite media and fan sites the week before about preview weekend and what delays have happened in to getting the new area open. I am sure that would have alleviated a lot of the disappointment. Everyone is experiencing construction material delays. What park has been successful at getting stuff open on opening day this year? Look at Dollywood and their new coaster.

Should have told them to listen to the latest KIC podcast. I woukd have fixed that story for them. So I was sitting on the final brake run on Orion. The third train rolled up to the brake run. A teenage girl on my train starts giving introductions to another girl on the third train. They found out each other's names. Still not why they even started a conversation while on 2 different trains in the brake run?

So a few extra cycle wait made you say no thanks?

I work for a school district and we have multiple construction projects going on. Hearing some of the construction meetings outside my office, the biggest issues has been building materials not showing up and getting permits.

Just rode Windseeker and the is a lot of overspray on the track structure.

Not yet, but it looked like they painted underneath white already, so I am sure it is coming.

Grain & Grill will not be open this weekend. I was not given a future date.

So I just got off the Red Racer. It has now had the rest of its tracked completely. Overhauled. That is the best ride on that I have ever had on The Racer. You can tell the track is still a little stiff, but as soon as it wears in a little bit, holy cow. Post your thoughts below when you have a chance to ride it.
