They haven't repainted Vortex or Carolina Cyclone in quite some time. -

Looks like Flying Ace Aerial Chase at Carowinds has a new paint scheme. Looks to be Blue and Gray! Wondering if there will be a new name too..? Picture comes from the Carowinds Web Cam -
Sledgehammer at Canada's Wonderland....it's a fun ride!

Lion Country Safari Mauling: An Untold Story
Creed Bratton replied to KIghostguy's topic in Kings Island
Six Flags Great Adventure has an attraction that is semi like this. Not a monorail but open air vehicles. Liability can't be too much if they continue to do this. -
That's right....forgot about that, it feels so natural to me that I feel they've been there for a long time haha. Added that to the original post.

Just a general observation about Coney Mall: In 2011, the park added WindSeeker, removed the asphalt and placed pavers on the ground. 2014, Shake Rattle and Roll received a refurbishment, including new paint and LED lighting. 2016, Scrambler received a refurbishment, including new paint and LED lighting. 2017, Dodgems added LED lighting package 2018 - full project unknown, speculation of new rides and what the new building will be. I'm thinking, although it's been 7 years since the "rehab" of Coney Mall has started, each aspect of change in the area is leading to a refreshed Coney Mall. I know that sometimes parks will spread the expense out for one project in different years. While I don't believe there will be a new ride in Coney Mall in 2018, I feel like there could be one coming to the area (or close if not exactly in Coney Mall) with the continual improvements (no matter how big or small). I definitely think it's part of the grand scheme of things for a new ride. The new building coming for 2018, whether it houses retail or a restaurant (likely) is all a part of the grand scheme of things. /random ramblings

But @SonofBaconator that wasn't what was asked...it was just asked if there was an example of a coaster moving somewhere else in a park But yeah, I mean BLSC definitely would be more difficult than something like Wild Cat
-
Wildcat at Cedar Point was moved. I believe it was near the beach and then moved to it's home across from Iron Dragon.
-
Those cars are waiting for their maintenance. They only have a certain amount of room to bring in trains for maintenance. Once the trains have maintenance completed they are placed back on the track/transfer shed, not just hanging out under the ride.

Those who were wanting to attend Cedar Point's Winter Chill Out in 2018 and didn't get a ticket yet, unfortunately/fortunately tickets sold out overnight. @acole5292, @pianoman, @malem and I will be attending the 10:30 tour! I think KI could do a successful event as well with the popularity of the event at CP. Like CP, KI could give behind the scenes tours, have a Q&A session with park officials, release information to attendees before it's out to the public (like CP did with Shoot The Rapids removal, etc.), have a lunch and of course exclusive goodies. The profits for the event could go toward A Kid Again (like CP does) or another local charity.

It was Mystic Timbers for every month with the addition of Banshee/Bat/Delirium (I think)/select rides in Planet Snoopy Diamondback/Select rides in Planet Snoopy. Also Soak City access to Tidal Wave Bay, Tropical Plunge and Pipeline Paradise. **EDIT** As of 10:56 am the link worked again.

It doesn't help that a bus line has a terminal there for when the park is in operation when it comes to crowd sizes. Jump on the bus to go to CW and not have to pay for parking? Sure! The one thing they have going for them is unique flats. Which to me is something worth going for. I personally love coasters but I'm not afraid of checking out flats. I wish we had a Sledgehammer and some of the other flats they have.
-
Weird....just did it for me too....hmm must be tweaking it and/or it wasn't ready to be released.
-
They don't release attendance or sales totals.
-
That's honestly been one of the things I have been dying to see here at KI since Knott's put them in on their boardwalk area and then CP put them in on the Gemini Midway. Yes please!
-
No they aren't planning on offering it for 2018. In the future? Eh maybe.
-
There hasn't been an announcement made. I honestly don't look for an announcement other than something when they announce what the 2018 Dining Plans/Locations will be.
-
@jimbo t that was last year..nothing has been released as of right now for 2018. I did just find this, although I'm not sure if it's current for 2018 or not: https://www.visitkingsisland.com/tickets-passes/season-pass-early-ride-times

The one thing I love about Canada’s Wonderland is their flat collection and I’m jealous they have it and we don’t lol. I’ve been to the park 2 times, once prior to Fast Lane. I’ve pretty much determined no matter what attractions they have or don’t have, if you want to experience the full park you need Fast Lane Plus and to visit a couple of days. I find CW worthy of a multi day visit but I agree, they really could use another high capacity attraction.
-
Have you ridden them? My last rides on them in 14...were not so amazing.
-
The difference between CP and KI ERT is that CP has hundreds if not thousands of resorts guests and pass holders coming for ERT. It’d be miserable with only a couple of things open.

Yes, in the form of HARLEY QUINN Crazy Coaster at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom https://www.sixflags.com/discoverykingdom/attractions/newfor2018
