  1. It would be extremely loud....have you heard that lift?
  2. Love ya @XGatorHead 8904 just don't love that program
  3. I also chose BLSC for placement. I'd place it in Action Zone somehow if I could.
  4. I should start a go-fund me page so I can buy the Tilt-A-Whirl.....I need it
  5. No privilege needed...I'd support this ride.
  6. Actually, I'm not. I asked a question, you responded and I responded as well. I'm looking at it from all view points and I simply stated that Cedar Fair doesn't seem to think the capacity this thing could offer isn't all that bad if they're installing other rides with similar capacities. I also simply stated that a term you used, "Not too good" is an opinion. Not argumentative at all.
  7. For the type it is, yeah. It's not like we're talking about a B&M Hyper or an Intamin Giga....we're talking about a S&S FreeFly coaster. Great Pumpkin Coaster has a capacity of about 350 per hour....is that good capacity for a roller coaster? Sure...for the type it is...but by "math" is it? Nah.
  8. That's opinion though....there are many rides that have "not very good" capacities according to "the math" but they seem to be doing awfully well. If they didn't parks wouldn't install them.
  9. Not very good is a relative term...an opinion. Railblazzer at CGA has a theoretical capacity of 640PPH. If we're holding it to the "math" standards...that's not very good as well....Knott's Berry Farm's new coaster, Hang Time has a 800PPH capacity....not much better than the 4D Free Spin Clones.....but still not that great according to "math." However, Cedar Fair must think it's good or they wouldn't add these two rides into their parks....so it wouldn't be that far-fetched for them to add a coaster like this that would have a semi-low capacity. It's all in the view of who's looking at the "math," it's kind of silly to have a view that "math" says it wouldn't work when Cedar Fair has other rides coming that the math doesn't look that great.
  10. Sort of knew that was happening. I'd be surprised if the park opened next year....from reports I've been hearing from folks living near the park, not much has been done that they can see and there hasn't been many vehicles in and out to do the work that was said to have happened.
  11. Not very good according to who? With this concept that @SonofBaconator posted....it's a little bigger than the clones we've seen....there could be additional trains, seats, etc. who knows....it'd be silly to say it'd have the same capacity as the clones.
  12. Although Gate Central generally sucks. See past events with visiting other parks Terpy style.
  13. I strongly disagree with you @Coaster Addict. When I rode Joker at NJFTP, I rode 3 times when the ride had a significant line all within an hour. While the lack of seats may give lower capacity the ride crews also control how many folks end up riding by following their procedures as quick and safe as possible. I went in thinking I'd hate the ride....but it ended up being one of my favorites. I laughed like crazy because I was having so much fun and the flipping took my off guard.
  14. Not gonna lie, I'd love to see different ideas/plans for the X-Base area.....concept art and all.
  15. Per the FAQ for Skating: Currently time sessions are 5:00-6:30pm, 7:00-8:30pm, and 9:00-10:30pm. Times are subject to change. Found on the website. They also say that you are unable to leave the ice and return during your session. You are able to be on the ice for the duration of your session. They also say at the end of each session ice will be cleared for the Zamboni.
  16. The only reason I said to use the Board 2 Death building is that it's a building that utilized for guests only 1/4th of the operating season....converting it to restrooms would be the best usage of space....the Firehawk and FOF photo booths aren't big enough for restrooms. Look at the sizes of the other restroom buildings around the park.
  17. They use Micros systems for the admissions/food/etc. registers. The other items, you more than likely would have to talk with someone who works with those systems as they aren't accessible to the public. As for lighting, they more than likely are using theatrical lighting, different brands can be found here: https://www.stagelightingstore.com/4-Shop-By-Brand but specifically what KI has for Winterfest I couldn't tell you off hand.
  18. It would be nice if they converted the Board 2 Death building either into restrooms or a quick serve restaurant. Heck they could convert the Firehawk photo booth into a quick serve restaurant (just route the Firehawk exit to the front of it), and convert the Board 2 Death building into restrooms. Add flats to the south side of Flight of Fear's launch track/unload station/North Side of Racer, keeping and/or rerouting some access roads.
  19. Based on that link, I find it interesting the 2018 cup will be purple......wondering what's on the label though
  20. But if you buy one at a thrift store, generally the money goes back to a charity...donate it back after and more $ can go to them! There isn't a fuss over them....it's just that some sweaters are literally so ugly they're funny and/or so amazing at the same time. Don't be a party pooper....have fun.
  21. Nah, judge free zone @IndyGuy4KI.
  22. I likely will ride it once if I go to Holiwood Nights and I'll be done.
  23. It doesn't have to be a contest..just fun. Stores sell ugly sweaters and you can also get one a thrift store.
  24. It will be the entire fountain....limited number of folks on it though....they want to make sure it's not a traffic jam.
  25. I agree with you @Shaggy. Canada's Wonderland has just the right amount of stuff for everyone.
