Has Ridership Increased on "The Bat" After This Year's Makeover?
shark6495 replied to Ffej's topic in Kings Island
Hey Terp I never said it was ideal just thinking in what ifs.... Realistically I love the way it rides as it is. I feel like I'm safe but slightly out of control.... The train is nice the way it is Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Depends on where I am sitting and time of day. Usually the brighter it is, it feels slower, the darker it is the faster it feels. Maybe you had more weight in one ride? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Has Ridership Increased on "The Bat" After This Year's Makeover?
shark6495 replied to Ffej's topic in Kings Island
Well there is no where to walk under the station any more near The Bat. I feel a floor less would be neat but would the general pop feel it's significantly different from Banshee? However swinging out far with a floor less would be fun. Maybe add 1 floor less train and keep one "normal"? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Everyone is clamoring for Oktoberfest to be reclaimed as an area. To do this, you would either need to take back land towards Action Zone or into the Coney mall area, right?

So CAN to US makes it $65... safe to assume thats about what we will be at for next year?

how similar were Wonderland/KI passes last year? I would assume that it will be the same way this year maybe?

Honest question. Are these missteps by a purposefully deceitful company running a bait and switch company with no regard for customers or are these missteps by a company who took on way too much and is still figuring its way around and up a very steep hill or are these missteps by a company that has no idea what its doing?

The official "Bring the Flying Eagles home" thread.
shark6495 replied to Shaggy's topic in Kings Island
Maybe among enthusiasts. For most people you could put the original and a brand new one side by side, paint them the same, and they couldnt tell you which was the original and which wasnt. If they bring them back, you can still play the nostalgia card. -
Or in the Snoopy Show Building that becomes Holiday Horror.

Maybe I am cynical, but I believe the entire time it was suppose to be only at Kroger but someone forgot to add that part in, during the initial run. Part of me believes he never thought he would be owning it this long so he didnt plan for all of this.

Three Roller Coasters ahead of their time:
shark6495 replied to westcoaster's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
Double Post because the previous got liked: I wouldnt consider SOB to be before its time. If the ride was built by the original crew the ride may not have had such a disastrous future. I wonder what affect the Paramount Park owners at the time had on the future of SOB -
Three Roller Coasters ahead of their time:

Well with today's tech you could create it so it would appear to have jumped a gap. Wood coaster goes up a little hill the wood disapears the track is merely steel track (thing the transition for the loop on SOB, then it goes back to being all wood again as it goes back down. The affect would appear to the riders that is just jumped a gap.
