  1. Yea I investigated after I posted. Didnt realize at first look that they didnt offer Gold Passes.
  2. Everyone is clamoring for Oktoberfest to be reclaimed as an area. To do this, you would either need to take back land towards Action Zone or into the Coney mall area, right?
  3. So CAN to US makes it $65... safe to assume thats about what we will be at for next year?
  4. how similar were Wonderland/KI passes last year? I would assume that it will be the same way this year maybe?
  5. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/kenneth-lerer/the-end-of-seaworld_b_5680119.html Right wrong or indifferent, this is the view many in the public are starting to share...
  6. Honest question. Are these missteps by a purposefully deceitful company running a bait and switch company with no regard for customers or are these missteps by a company who took on way too much and is still figuring its way around and up a very steep hill or are these missteps by a company that has no idea what its doing?
  7. The park is packed today. Decent weather, weekend day, last minute crowds= long long waits. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Tbh it's not descript plywood covered in "blood" it could be from anywhere Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Well it's still open, some people would say CFs plan to close it is not finished while others may point out that CF has not found a bidder yet either Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. And for those of us with gold or platinum... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  14. I was thinkin about the comment of losing another building. Didn't Delta Delta Die take place in the laser tag building? It reopened Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Maybe among enthusiasts. For most people you could put the original and a brand new one side by side, paint them the same, and they couldnt tell you which was the original and which wasnt. If they bring them back, you can still play the nostalgia card.
  16. Or in the Snoopy Show Building that becomes Holiday Horror.
  17. Maybe I am cynical, but I believe the entire time it was suppose to be only at Kroger but someone forgot to add that part in, during the initial run. Part of me believes he never thought he would be owning it this long so he didnt plan for all of this.
  18. Double Post because the previous got liked: I wouldnt consider SOB to be before its time. If the ride was built by the original crew the ride may not have had such a disastrous future. I wonder what affect the Paramount Park owners at the time had on the future of SOB
  19. Well with today's tech you could create it so it would appear to have jumped a gap. Wood coaster goes up a little hill the wood disapears the track is merely steel track (thing the transition for the loop on SOB, then it goes back to being all wood again as it goes back down. The affect would appear to the riders that is just jumped a gap.
  20. I was riding with a buddy who had not ridden The Bat ever. He said he loved Iron Dragon because it was a calmer ride and wasnt nearly intense so it was a nice break. He suggested after a Banshee/Invertigo back to back affair we take a spin on Bat in the front row. He was expecting calm and then the first drop happened with the big curve following. He had more fun on that ride than any other we rode that day.
  21. We do Boo Blasters together because it's a nice break from the heat. Sally's Seaplane owns a piece of my scalp..... The carousels we have ridden in seats that don't move. He cries when it goes up and down and around. You make me excited to look forward to future endeavors but at the same time I don't want to miss out on what we can do now! I'm thinking this weekend him and I will hit up the park for a big train ride Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. We must go on different days. We're typically a middle of the week, 5:30 to 9:00 or 10:00 goes, so I'll readily admit its not prime time for certain areas, and maybe that is included. I agree with you on all fronts bout Peanuts Offroad, it may not be thrilling but our 2 year old enjoys it. Heck, our 6 year old still kind of enjoys it when we are back int that area, too bad he'll be too tall to get on it next season. At any rate, its a lesser version of the Peanuts 500 car ride (though perhaps better capacity, don't know). If they had to relocate it, to make my idea work, fine, but I wouldn't just get ride of it. Its small and could work in a lot of different areas if need be.I don't recall what, if any the height restrictions were on the 'tiques, but I envision that any child capable of sitting up on their own (ie able to ride Snoopy Junction) would be able to ride a new car version. Obviously they couldn't drive the car, but they could ride along, would probably be just as thrilling for them as Snoopy Junction would be. Snoopy Junction requires a responsible adult to ride with any kid below 40", so in either case a young rider would need somebody else with them on the ride (unlike Peantus 500, whip-it, etc...) You are also forgetting a handful of the other under 36" rides, Sally Sea Planes, the helicopter ride, carousels, and The Monster. That is 9 rides that I can think of, and if you trust the website, it doesn't list a height requirement for Joe Cool's Dodge 'Em School, just a maximum height. I'm not sure if I believe that, but I've always forgotten to check, either way I'm not ready to test my 2 year old daughter on it yet, maybe next season if there truly is no minimum height. however, if there was another area in the park that worked, I'm all for it, just seems like as they've rotated around the park, Planet Snoopy is due for some upgrades sometime in the next 2-3 seasons. That answers that. I must be one the crazy newbie parents who go early in the day. That little stretch is full of strollers. I thought you meant get rid of those rides. I'm all for moving them. My lil one is 15 months old and he loves Offrode, 500, and the Junction. He is too short for some of the others since we don't have anyone to ride with him on some of the others or don't feel comfortable putting him on the others just yet I miss the Tiques. 23. But what was it's original name? Just stating a thinking question Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Maybe you and I go on different days but Snoopy's Junction is always a 20 minute wait with the line spilling out towards the little Whip ride during the hours of about 10-2. The Peanuts Offroad may not seem thrilling but many many kids under 36 ride that ride. If you were to remove those two rides you mentioned, that would leave the little one crowd with 2 rides they could ride. The longer car ride and Boo Blasters. If this were to happen (the removal of those rides back there), I would have 0 reason to buy a pass for at least another year or so.
  25. I have seen them selling the 3D glasses two times as well.... both times on Saturdays. Must have been earlier in the season, as the sign for the glasses has even been taken down. And as far as the ghosts I'm sure they are still up there just no longer turned on. Mid to Later July. So less than 30 days ago?
