The problem with this question is, are we talking best theme, best coaster, or best theme+coaster put together? I picked Flight of Fear because it's such a great coaster, but in terms of theme, I'd pick Adventure Express.
Action Zone won't be expanded without a new attraction for 2014. That would be pretty pointless. I'm 95% positive we will be getting some attraction next year; 50/50 on whether or not it will be a coaster.
Erm...no. The Beast's first drop is a great picture. The helix. What TheCrypt posted. Even an overview of it.
Also, the picture was Son of Beast with a loop. How can Nat Geo write an article about roller coasters and not even figure out that Son of Beast is different than The Beast?
I hate going to Kings Island during the summer weekdays and expecting low crowds, then seeing the opposite. But, honestly, I agree with you. I love seeing the park crowded. That way I know it's successful.
So I must've been gone or something - when was the live entertainment for this year released? I see it on Kings Island's website, now I'm wondering if anyone said anything about it.
I think we need some more Planet Snoopy rides as well
and also possibly a "snoopyfied" wild mouse coaster
We need those Snoopy "tea cups". I still miss the witch's cauldrons.
More rides in Planet Snoopy? Are you crazy?! It's insanely packed in there already and has plenty of rides.
At first I was like, wow, great trip report...I guess? Then I realized this is the first of many others.
I'm guessing you're going to Disney World? If so, have fun!
And how do you think they put up the Haunt decorations around the park? They cover whatever there may be during the day, then when the time comes, take it off. But I don't even think BB1 was talking about the roller coaster itself, just the area around it.
I'm thinking that Cedar Fair will see how the sales go, then add more rides to Plus - well, take away rides from the standard Fast Lane and add it to Fast Lane Plus.
A terrible but great working money making trick idea:
Sell a lot less of the standard Fast Lane passes, so by the time they're all out, the late to the park GP will have to settle for Fast Lane Plus.
CoastersRZ, I never had a problem with Fast Lane. But Fast Lane Plus is just stupid. Two more rides to skip in line for an extra price? Why?
^That's what they should do - Fast Lane lets you only ride the ride once, while with Fast Lane Plus, you can ride any ride unlimited times.
This really confuses me. What in the world is the point in this? Who would pay an extra $10 for two more rides? I don't get it. Kings Island, after a great offseason, you do something like this?
