If you break rules and regulations, there are repercussions. If you don't like the procedures you can raise a concern, but you don't break the rule. You have the choice not to visit, it is not a God given right to be able to attend amusement parks. At least i don't remember that one being outlined in the Dec. of Independence.

There has been no announcement that it will be a seperate admission to get into the waterpark.. and as Kings Islands page sits now, it still says 2 parks for 1 price for tickets.

It sounds like it will be like Cedar Points wave pool... and if that is the case, then yes, the waves are about 2-3 times the size they are in the one we have now.

Before this I thought KI's waterpark and the beach were on level playing ground. The one thing I love CP's waterpark was the huge waves (check). Went to Water country USA and the thing that stood out to me there was there water highway thin (check) Those have both now been added to Kings Island. While I was hoping for a roller coaster, Kings Island knocked this one out of the ball park. I think this was a good move to add life to boomerang bay.

The same logo was used last year corn4ahead.

I have thought this many times. I look at it, and think, that looks like something animated. But it is not. It definitely has an "Ahh" factor to it.

I'm going to assume there are similar fire hydrants all over the park. Not sure what the guidelines are inside the park, but I know they call for more than 1 fire hydrant on 350+ occupied acres.

I'm not going to be one that toots the SOB horn, and say that it is what is going to be announced tomorrow, but everyone makes it sound like there is no way there has been planning going on about what is going to happen to SOB, and that if it gets announced tomorrow that it would be the first day of planning. I would be willing to bet there is a plan in the works for what is going to happen to SOB. Anyway back on topic,if it were a ride of somesort annoucned tomorrow, it seems quite a few people assume the ride has to be open opening day, which means they only have till April to get it running. It could not open till June, which would give them an extra 2 (non winter) months to work. Just trying to not be so narrow minded as we await tomorrows announcement...

Not that it would be "groundbreaking" but I think Mantis would be a great ride with B & M's floorless trains.

Time will tell indeed, and we only have another 26 hours to wait.

Suspended Arrows (that sounds like a fun ride all in of itself) are a dying breed. Just a question, are there any others left other than FD at KI and ID at CP? EDIT: answered my own question with a quick search on rcdb... there are 5 total operating.

With all the announcements by the other parks from SIX to Dolly to Hershey to Busch, Ohio is not doing too hot in the extreme thrills front. I am not imagining any new roller coaster coming to KI, but maybe Kings Island will have something worth talking about after tomorrow.

2012 is looking like a HUGE year.. not matter where you go.... lets see if KI can match the stakes tomorrow afternoon

SBNO- Usually stands for Standing but not operating.... its a very generic term, somehow its come to be what some people call SOB.
