Top 10 Ways Kings Island Shook Things Up in 2014
I would have added in the awesome Coasting For Kids raising all the money that it did for those who need a little bit of fun after illness. This year changed many lives, some we may have met, others we have not, but it all makes a big difference.

Rumor: Gwazi to close in February
Hey, it may not be for you, but for me it is. If you go to Florida, and if you want to go to Orlando and the beach, usually one would go to Tampa. If one goes to Tampa and wants to go to a theme park, forget BGA, go to WDW. Friends, relatives, even fellow enthusiasts do it. Florida is known usually for oranges, everglades, beaches and Disney.

Rumor: Gwazi to close in February
Florida, at least in the Orlando-Tampa area is known mostly for WDW property. Advertisements plenty, and tourists all flock to it. BB1, a Florida traveler/Enthusiast for a long time.

KI's opening day, April 18th, 2014
^I would suggest asking the park by calling them; as this is an enthusiast site and is in no way a park ambassador, nor a park representative.

Kentucky Kingdom
Kudos to KK, getting the public before the dollar. This year....phew PR and KK seemed like two very different entities, but I am glad that now PR seems to be growing. People want to be a part of KK and want to invest, and KK needs that money. Sure, like what Home said, it is not ideal, but hey when it comes to PR-Guest relations, this is something that shows a sense of "Southern Hospitality". OR: The PR may just say that just to say that and want more people to buy with that in mind. Either way: Kudos to you KK

Week IX: What Coaster Would You Want for Christmas?
Every Christmas it seems that everyone wants the same thing: Technology, clothes, or gift cards. It happens every year, and it gets repetitive quickly. But what if, instead of getting the usual present, you get a coaster instead? In light of the season of giving, what coaster would you want for Christmas? * (NOTE: that space nor operating cost does not matter in the fictional world of our Imaginations!)* EDIT: Just realized that KIPR did a similar poll as well!

Ark Encounter Contract Signed
Well, while talking with my cousin about it today(Yes, Christmas TPresentR from the Creation Museum) we did concoct a Moses LIM attraction "Escape from Egypt". Yeah I get your point and I see that as I have researched it thoroughly but having the park only have that could easily cost major costs in renovations and upkeep which need to be balanced out with attractions who could make profits and in turn help create more profits to keep the park alive.

Rumor: Gwazi to close in February
Let's just hope Gwazi will not turn out to be another SOB sight. It will be interesting to see what will go in its place, steel coaster? RMC coaster? Never know in the land of Mouse.

Ark Encounter Contract Signed
Woah woah woah partner, how the heck do you compare Hitler to Ken Ham? Are you mad? What makes a guy running a Christian museum the same to a guy running a government machine that slaughtered 6 million innocent Jews? There is no hate in true Christianity as that is just a load of bull. Christianity was founded upon the morality of good, love, peace, and goodwill base. If your conjuncture is true, then that would mean some of the most impacting groups for the poverty struck Cincinnatians, is only out to hurt and decimate those who even try? Or better yet, multiple and multiple of mission trips to poverty struck Haiti, only seek to, again, destroy even more of the morales of the people? I as a Christian I feel as if your agenda by that post is more of a hate, as, being someone who seems to be outside of Christianity, is only spreading hate for the religion. Yeah sure you may not like what he is saying nor agree with it, but he is trying to expand on a market in KY and expand his ministry. I am not saying that you cannot disagree with what he is saying about it; but there's no reason why to call him Hitler as that is a terrible analogy. I mean seriously this isn't a black hole and a sun scenario here use some logic and stop trying to pull bull and start a flame war over it. Now on the topic of the Ark Encounter I am just going to touch on a few major flaws that I see. First thing's First (I am going to be the realist <Good ole Iggy>) the park has little to no attractions for the family. The park needs more Biblically based attractions, coasters to be exact. That way it could actually make more revenue and go along with their already growing popularity of the zip-lines. Secondly, they need more emphasis on what they will have as in amenities and etc. The park is too based on the Ark and it needs to be more than that, KI doesn't just rely on The Beast, Diamondback, or Banshee for that reason. It needs more of a stretched arm in what it has, not just a dark ride and a boat. The park as of now just looks like it needs work on the design, it doesn't look like it could be successfull to be a regional park. Already we have dollars being poured into the Kingdom of Louis, and that could either be a go or a big no depending on how the economy and years play out. Now a park that could possibly go down the tank because of the lack of attractions. Sure, it is a sight to see and would bring in revenue in the first year or two, but attractions need to be planned for the long run of things to be added aka coasters, flats, etc.

Cedar Point adding Quaker Steak and Lube next to Castaway Bay
Quaker is a wings place, similar to BW3's. They are notorious for their motor vehicle flare, gas pump like beer cylinders, and an extended variety of sauces for your wings..........The hottest of them all is something that few would try. I personally like it, a location is close by, though I never go, I still like to go occasionally for some wings and the Twizzlers for the dessert. (Sorry Terp, no Snickering here) By far I must give the utmost respect to Cedar Point. Expanding on the marina, and their market, the park is now more of a resort where people could have "StayCations" and essentially spend most of their lose monies on site rather going out of the property. When I go to CP this year (first time ever too), I will have to go and try to get some Quaker wings after marathoning Maverick.

PTR: Christmas at EnterTRAINment Junction
Ahh the Florence Mall, have to love the memories and the experiences to be found there! (One must hail the old tree that once stood, and sadly now the kiddies hail to the miniature Florence Y'all water tower now in the middle of the mess) Great PTR, I almost went last week and will probably be going to the event next week if possible. (Good intro for the trip too!)

Week VIII: Best Pre-Paramount Era Kings Island Addition
In light of McSalsa's twist on my Poll Season(Which I must give him credit on an excellent poll) I made this one to go back all the way back to day 1 for KI. In this poll, you can pick one per era. (Edits on the telephone, reception is not a gift) I also will like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and do make it merry when ever possible!

Coasting for Kids 2015
Finally after 2 years of no goes, i will be going to do CFK in 2015(Don't know about the team though, maybe I will go solo, never know about me). Looking forward to getting set up for this year and hopefully there will be a major turn out for a great cause!

Rumor: Gwazi to close in February
1St off, don't tell the one guy that has a fansite that has a plethora of members in Orlando! Even when i wasn't on the forum sites i knew of TPR vaguely and how many did go to WDW. 2Nd, boo on you BGT that you left the only major wooden coaster(s) go to waste. It is one of those deals that Orlando area actually needs to have. 3Rd, if IF we loose it, i could see a RMC treatment on it's way. That is the best way to go if you are to take down an iconic woody and to make it a smooth experience for the riders period.

Kings Island Chalk Drawings!
No waterpark? -sigh- Well, the park side looks great, but you're still missing a fourth of the park map a little bit to your right. But good job over all!

The best ride added to Kings Island during the Paramount Era (1993-2006) was...
This was the next week's topic! Other than the all glorious BB addition of which I do hold dear, I will have to say that out of all of the additions, Delirium or OLFOF just due to how different they are and how instrumental both were in the park. (Plus, I love them both more than any so)

Week VII: Favorite Christmas Dessert

Week VI: Favorite Topic in 2014
Throughout the year topics comes and goes. Usually laced with some puns, some great information, and occasionally some of the oddest conversations I have ever seen. So, in light of the many topics made this year, which one was your favorite?

Wales amusement park ride carriages collide 198 feet in the air
^That sounds like something what I would (have) say. Luckily the injuries were not fatal, and this is not something people should laugh at as it could have been worse.

Kings Island Inn & Conference Center closing soon?
"I will pay you, your car, for one dollar" I can't help but think of that looking at the prices! Sad thing for it to go, but I wouldn't mind having a thing or two from there now. Luxury? Apartments? Concept? Across the street from.GWL? I have a headache.

Week V: Best Year for Movies
Already 5 weeks in and it feels like forever since I have been to KI! There was a lot of buzz on our forums lately about the upcoming films and some of the films we have had this year. Now, I do suggest for you to also look at our KIC Movie Reviews posted by moi in our Multimedia section. With Guardians Of The Galaxy, and a plethora of other films that have came out, and the upcoming film of The Hobbit, 2014 has had a great running in the movie era. So, I made this topic to ask a question: What year was the best year for movies?

Kentucky Kingdom
........Meanwhile festivals like The Salt Festival, and Wool Festival have been ever so slightly been decreasing and few even know of them anymore. Plus, once you go one year you've seen them all. I rarely even go to them anymore and to be honest, the crowd has really been dying off due to economics or due to death to be frank.

TOP GUN
Bring The Eagles Home, that they did. This topic, no clue, but the pot, or Kegger is being stirred.

TOP GUN
Stir the pot as they say, but please don't spin the Keggers. Pass me a Snicker's Bar too, we may be in for quite a ride.

Kentucky Kingdom
To be honest this park has gotten far too political. The park needs to be able to pay itself off by x amount of years or it goes. The State, or whoever it was by the state, found the park to be an investment for KY to have profits with to balance out the revenues made with Indiana and Ohio. Both of which have high profit parks with major additions in the 2014/2015 seasons. Tides are turning, as you can see with this year's election which I won't delve too far in because it is too political for this forum site which is strictly not about that kind of work. The major thing that I think will make or break KK is this upcoming season: 3 good sized coasters, a good sized water park, and a fairly large family area. If the T3 project is a dump then yeah I would like to see some changes or better yet some movement to the correct changes. Sure I hope for the best, but with this economy and what is going on nationally and internationally we need to invest in parks who would succeed. Now let's say KK fails and it is a flop, what's next? I would rather see Beech Bend actually get an expansion to keep revenue and profit in KY so that one park in KY could rise above how KK did. BB (irony) could use a larger waterpark, which the water park at KK has a plethora of amazing well to do water amenities for park guests. If not that, then possibly move KK farther east to Northern KY, there are places and space where it could develop and grow more than it does in Louisville.
