  2. 1. Son of Beast's Station along with its chain lift mechanism. also the original trains are behind Dinosaurs Alive! if you ride the back seat of the Red racer (i think) and look youll see them. Also the newer trains were used for haunt last year the Blue ones but they took off the Son of Beast sticker not sure if you saw them or not. 2. The lights from Lion Country Safari are directly under Congo Falls. 3. There are several Footers from the original Bat under Vortex and right next to the Station. Also the maintenance doors have two holes in them obviously to incorporate The Bat's suspended track. Along with The Bat's Station (except it was Orange not Blue.) and the stairs leading up the first lift hill on Vortex are from The Bat. 4. Going back to Son of Beast the queue line is still there and also whats left of the Track sticks out of the Station. 5. The original Enchanted Theater exit is still there. Its next to The Great Pumpkin Coaster Its the big mural of Snoopy or the Pumpkin Patch. Its doors are there and its used for Carnevil during Haunt; of which The Great Pumpkin Coaster's loading platform shelter was originally used for The Smurf's Enchanted Voyage. 6. Flight Commaders Queue is still there, which was used for Kill Mart. 7. Phantom Theater's entire queue line is present along with the Maestro's Balcony and Spooky faces that I think were supposed to be Maestro are in the Hallway. Also Kings Island has about all of the Animatronics and the Phantom Theater Mouse is used in Board to Death. Along with the Boiler Room furnace in Slaughterhouse Reloaded towards the end of that maze. And I think there's a few Phantom Theater things in Madame Fatales Cavern of Terror. 8. There may be a Few King Cobra Footers present behind Slingshot next to Banshee but they may have been removed although they were quite small and out of the way of Banshee's footers. Also King Cobra's Chain along with other parts of it might be in Flight of Fear. Althought the trains from King Cobra were moved back in 2008 to Kings Dominion to be used as spare parts for Shockwave. A clone of King Cobra down in Virginia. Those trains used to be in Flight of Fear but now i Think they are next to Volcano:The Blast Coaster from what Ive read. 9. The Paramount's Kings Island trams are clearly visible from the Top of the Eiffel Tower. 10. Der Spinnen Keggers have to Flag poles next to Viking Fury. 11. Sky Ride's Footer now has a tree in it but is still next to Adventure Express and behind the restaurant that used to be Bubba Gump's. I forget its present name but I think its Hanks Burrito Shack. 12. Top Gun's Stars are still there. If you turn around when you first step out of The Bat's entrance tunnel/Old Son of Beast tunnel you will see them. 13. SkyLab's queue line is now a prize storage room facility. 14. Tomb Raider The Ride's photo booth is still next to the same building that once housed it Madame Fatale's Cavern of Terror. 15. The go cars from Thunder Alley are visible from Firehawk's queue line and lift hill. 16. A majority of the Scooby Doo and The Haunted Castle Props and Cardboard cutouts are used on Boo Blasters on Boo Hill. 17. The track from Phantom Theater is still there but the actuation of the Cars switched. But its still the same track from Phantom. 18. Also I have no idea what happened to the Phantom Theater Cars maybe someone can help me on this they used to be on display at the Bandstand before Blood Drum's became a hit. 19. Not really a remnant but the sign for Invertigo along with the actual Station is still colored to represent the Face/Off days. 20. Many of the Wild County Safari buildings remain except you have no way of accessing them. Along with the Trams from the Safari are at Jungle Jim's down the road; all except for the old restaurant, which is the Chicken Shack 21. Cars from the Jetson's Ride were also on display next to the Eiffel Tower and next to the Son of Beast trains. 22. The Crypt's seats are stored inside Flight of Fear and The Bat Demon is used for Haunt. 23. (LEAVING THIS BLANK FOR FUTURE ADDITION) 24. Also Im fairly sure the old Flight of Fear cars are stored inside Flight of Fear and there are some also behind Banshee. Behind Son of Beast's old Rosebowl Double Helix, near the Station of Son of Beast now. 25. The Flying Dutchman's launch pad is now the entrance to The Adventure Express. 26. I cant think of anything else except for througout the park there are various things that still say Paramount's Kings Island on them like the Trams and other things if you look hard enough. (BB1)27. Guest Services BB stand is still noticeable from the Eiffel Tower. 28. The old Paramount placks in the Tower Gardens are face down/The old Paramount stars were still visible. 29. Old WaterWorks buildings still exist at Soak City 30. The old Boomerang Bay Kookaburra Bay fish on the semi submerged seating platform are still visible. Just continue the list made by Maestro, if I could also ask to clarify anything that needs to be clarified with the said list, this way we cold keep it up to date and thorough. 5. I rev up my machine, a time machine. I called it the Big Boom 1, or BB1 for short. Reaching into my pocket I picked up a mangled sheet of paper, torn at the sides, smudged by oil. I turned a brass nob, while putting the machine into second gear. VOOOM-VOOOM-VOOOM It was dusk I looked at my dash board to notice that it was 8 o clock, Magic Kingdom. I dashed for the Fantasy Land, to get aboard the chair lift. I went over the park in joy and happiness. I then disembarked to only run to my machine as we then embarked to a new destination. VOOOM-VOOOM-VOOOM. It was the 1950's, Coney Island. I came out, looking like a 50's fellow would, and made my way hastily to my ride. I came up to the Shoot-The-Chutes, and boarded for the most fantastic of rides. I went up and up, then back down into the water, a skip and a splash into the lake. The machine was beeping now, 3 more stops until I cannot do anymore. VOOOM-VOOOM-VOOOM. I came out onto a parking lot, I remember this. It was old, yet, so homily, I looked out, it was Boomerang Bay. I laughed and I skipped for joy, running into the Australian gates yet again to experience my home. I started to take photographs, and listen to the Crocodile Dundee voice, and the theming galore. The theme, the music, everything. I stayed for hours, the whole day, and soon after, the week. It was paradise, and I wanted to stay; but the machine had a set amount of time that it could stay, and I had to go. VOOOM-VOOOM-VOOOM I stepped out onto a familiar scene, it was so familiar that I almost took a step back. It was Halloween Haunt, and I was next to Trail of Terror. The terror began almost immediately. The old ghosts, the old kooks, it was all like it happened before; which it has. I was in the same group with my old self, all ready for the terror, I almost didn't even recognize myself. I walked back pleased, but with only one last stop. VOOOM-VOOOM-VOOOM. My machine was halfway down, and it was on its' crutches. I walked out to be at the Institute Of Future Technology, exactly where I wanted! Meandering around the tech found here, i made it back to finally ride in a Delorean Time Machine. After my trip, I went back to my time machine; only to find a Delorean Time Machine. A note was inside the car "This has unlimited time travels, so use it well. -Doc" After that I went on even more adventures, but mostly to Boomerang Bay.
  6. Thank Maestro, i just added information that i have readily available that i can divulge.

  8. Glad to get a small response, i keep on checking the site daily for any updates or new information. Hopefully it will be up by mid February!
  9. It seems as if every era of Kings Island has some sort of prominent theme region. Whether it be a waterpark, or a theme park addition, it seems as both have certain eras. Many of the older stock here would remember the Hanna-Barberra era, filled with Yogi Bear and Scooby Doo, others would remember Nick and Snoopy taking over in the 2000's. So, in light of the recent Time Machine poll, which era was the best theme/character era at Kings Island? PLEASE NOTE: You can choose multiple answers for multiple areas and eras.
  10. It's a 3 in one deal: Advertise for the Kings Dominion, show how similar it is and how much fun can be had here as well. Advertise for Kings Island, the thrills and fun of Kings Dominion, and so much more are to be had here. Advertising for Hanna-Barberra, show off their characters and that one could experience all of their favorite childhood favorites at both parks. It's a simple yet very strategic aim to get guests from Virginia and the surrounding areas to come to both properties.
  11. Now, they must make a machine gun themed launched coaster!
  12. Hand Stamp has been necessary for all the seasons prior I believe, or at least that is what I have always done.
  13. Given their limited space and the monetary expenses given: Not much. The attractions they just added look similarly to road side attractions, but it works. I could see them going for a compact coaster, a Euro Fighter maybe, to go in where the stage is in the far back. Other than that this park is packed. Maybe a water attraction to be added? Not sure on that due to, again, space is now an essential key stone to Kentucky Kingdom. If they want to expand, they need to buy out the space adjacent to the park, to then add in more attractions and more festivities.
  14. Oh I know that, but to keep up speculation. It's like a vague idea of a Christmas Present, put it out there and keep the public interested.
  15. I am supposed to be excited on a ball, which i really don't care about, that probably costs me 6 bucks? Give some hints on Kingdom 7 at least! That's better PR, give some bait and get more bites, or likes for that matter.
  16. This year the Seattle SeaHawks and The New England Patriots battled it out for the SuperBowl title. But many also watch for the advertisements, as they too are prime entertainment for the whole game. This year though had an interesting twist, having some great ones, and others, not so much. So, this week's poll is to discuss the Ads for this year, were they great? Which ones? Were they terrible? Which ones?
  17. Cedar Point took a nose Dive this year. They lost their title handed in the Golden foil. Now I won't Dive into it any further as I have yet to get to the park, but i will say that I would like to be a Fighter, maybe a Euro?
  18. For the past couple of weeks I have been asking mainly park related questions, so this week and the upcoming weeks I think I will give them a brake (yes I meant that kind of brake) run and put up some other genres of polls. Going with the genre, this week will be about your music genre. What kind of music do you listen to? What kind of music do you feel most suits your personality? Any favorite bands?
  19. Every year enthusiasts have to hunker down and wait out the off season. But not at a few parks like Cedar Point. So, which park would you go to for a winter tour? (I have been uber busy this week, it has been insane.)
  20. Hey, I have been riding that donkey for a while, but politically speaking, I have to ride an Elephant. I feel changing winds if Kentucky Kingdom cannot draw the Kentucky crowd, it cannot rely on word of mouth. It has to expand, even if it means going into foggy mountains (Hopefully it will break down), add more events, add more things to bring in more crowds. Otherwise it's hitting the toilet soon, if it cannot change and produce revenue for the state and the area, the elephants are coming, the Republic is coming!
  21. Exactly, commercials. I am driving down the highway, or maybe I stop in Lexington, driving around, I may see a sign for Creation Museum, or maybe a local venue. But I am also looking for theme parks, I don't see any if i am just passing through looking for something to do. It is just very bizarre how KK isn't reaching out to the Kentuckians, but rather in a market where they will scrape up little to no revenue compared to the other markets in Kentucky.
  22. I can assure you that outside of the Louisville districts, there is no advertising of Kentucky Kingdom. Also, in one of the booming markets, NKY, it has yet to see a Kentucky Kingdom advertisement, and many in the region do not even know of its' opening. Only by word of mouth or by people actually going to Louisville is how people are getting this information. I really expected to see more KK signs going through KY, Florence, Lexington even, but none are there.
  23. I actually have a Super 8 MM film projector that I am working on at the moment (I cannot get the bulb changed out). May head on over to NewPort for some of these old films.
  24. Some see his viewpoints on Kings Island as "Cedar Point: South". Placing coasters and thrill rides over theming put a sour taste in enthusiasts. Also, his "parting gift" with the new waterpark too made some re-think what exactly is needed at Kings Island, and what isn't. I'm not saying that I hated the man nor that I liked him because honestly, that's not my place to state. He did wonders with Cedar Point, and made it one of the roller coaster meccas, while he also made strides to save a failing company and get some of the land consolidated for the future of the chain market. He did what he did to ensure that the parks could do what they do best: deliver fun. He left a precedent that Cedar Fair holdings still hold dear; to build the best for the park and make better of their attractions and locations. But was his methods orthodox? Or better yet, was his strides really for the right move? That's really up to you to decide, as it is different from person to person.
  25. I actually heard of this site before, being a Disney Enthusiast, you have to get information somehow. Cool articles, and some detailed rumours. But will I be applying? More than likely not as I am far too busy to write these pieces.
