New Texas Giant to reopen this weekend
TheCrypt replied to NoChickens's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
You're nowhere near qualified to make operating decisions at Six Flags, Cedar Fair, or any amusement park. What are the qualifications? For one thing, you should probably wait more than seven days to reopen a ride where a woman fell to her death. A week doesn't give much time to have a thorough investigation and give the ride necessary changes. -

Congo Falls is also an *INTAMIN* water ride. Ironically, the Arrow log flume across the park constantly gets more riders than the Intamin. Hmm...
-
...well what is it?
-
Ron Toomer designed the ride without the help of computers which is why I think the inversions on Vortex are better than anything Intamin or B&M could offer. They feel so much more intense than modern coasters. But hey, that's just me.

If this was true, El Toro would have been ranked first again.

Thanks for the report. Sounds like you all had fun!

You seem to have no problem with the Club Blood building, Son of Beast's station, International Restaurant, 50' observation deck on the Eiffel Tower, or Action Theater. What's different about The Crypt's building?

On the other hand, savekingsmillslogflume went very well. -
Word on the street is that there was a "no pictures" rule in Madame Fatale's Box of Terror. Was this true even for the KIC'ers?

Might want to check your hyperlinks. They're linking back to this page.

New for 2014 at Holiday World...

That's all your opinion, Stud. And you said it yourself, "IMO means in my opinion, which is not fact." -
What a surprise!

The ride does look fun, I'll give you that.

Lol I guess SIX is adding a bunch of kiddy coasters. Don't waste your money buying a pass to their parks next year!
-
Full Throttle is a small coaster?

Honestly, all the park needs to do is relight the stained glass, fix the glockenspiel, take out Panda Express and replace with authentic German food, and reinstall the drapes that attach to the lights. It's a relatively small investment that really has a big effect on the customer and the park.

Most teens also don't have to do all the work that's expected of me, either.
-
I have a rehearsal starting at 9 on Saturday then a competition later that day which will mean I get home around midnight...net net, I use my Sundays for sleep. There's no way I could go to the park running on such few hours of sleep.

Whoever goes to the lights on CoT tour...could you all pretty please take a million pictures for me?
-
You thought what was over? The last few additions Paramount made were less thrilling than what Cedar Fair's putting in now.

You can either ask to have them put the items on the shelf or you can ride with the bag. Riding with the bag is about as safe as putting it on the shelf anyways.

Intimidator 305 Closed: Cable Lift Problems

Memory is often times flawed. I've listed numerous sources supporting my claim. He has, so far, cited nothing. -

All the resources I've seen have cited Cedar Fair. http://www.themeparkinsider.com/reviews/kings_island/the_crypt/ http://kifansite.com/2013/01/tombraidertheride-alookback/ http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Crypt_(Kings_Island) Your sources?
