  1. ^In reference to the above post: Edit: dang, got next paged
  2. He's just going to say "operator error." And to that I say this: how many operator errors have killed people on a B&M coaster?
  3. You're obviously riding in the wrong place.
  4. During the transition from Tomb Raider to The Crypt, the front row of the gondola was removed so the gondola could be reduced in weight. This would, in theory, allow for a more acrobatic ride cycle to make up for the lost theming. The new ride cycle tore up the machinery more than the TRTR cycle so the cycle was yet again changed to the less intense two-flip cycle. If I can recall correctly, the ride opened with a two flip cycle and closed with a similar cycle.
  5. Those are great pictures. I really like the Diamondback shots and the picture of the Royal Fountain.
  6. SIX hasn't even released a date for their annual announcements. They're certainly not a small park chain.
  7. Just like a longer line does not equate a more popular attraction, the price tag of an addition is not symbolic of its importance.
  8. Cedar Fair doesn't have $100 million to blow on one park in a single season.
  9. It was the Emporium, actually. That thread gave me the creeps.
  10. I have lost all faith in humanity. Banshee is a name and only a name. Troy, it's time you start treating it as such.
  11. I don't speak Spanish. No hablo espanol?I think you meant "¿No hablas español?" You incorrectly conjugated the verb hablar in the yo form, making "I don't speak Spanish."So yea. There's your Spanish lesson of the day.
  12. Looks new. Good to see we'll be seeing higher quality props this year!
  13. Me gusta Flight Deck más que Iron Dragon.
  14. It's been noted fog machines, tombstones, and other "surprises" will come to fruition.
  15. It still hasn't been confirmed the death was induced by the ride. The man could have had a preexisting condition.
  16. You don't have much luck with waterparks, do you? First Florida, now this! Thanks for the report.
  17. Food lines were some of the longest lines of the day. About 5-10 minutes IIRC.
  18. Labor Day weekend is DEAD. So glad Dollar Days are coming back. That's by far my favorite promotion they do at the park because it's a fantastic value. I just hope this year they offer breadsticks at LaRosa's to go with the pizza. Breadsticks are my guilty pleasure.
  19. There are more manufacturers than just Intamin and B&M. There are Gerstlauer, Mack, Zierer, Zamperla, Premier, Vekoma, and a myriad of others. It's funny how you say only Intamin rides can make Kings Island expand and attract people, yet all the coasters that "expanded the park" didn't come from Intamin.
  20. Technically, it was the first and only coaster Paramount built in house. And though the supports were steel, the loop's track was wooden which is just enough to consider the ride a wooden coaster.
  21. That ride looks very fun, especially the inclined whatever you call it. Good to see B&M branching out with their additions.
  22. Wouldn't you like to go on this family ride with the rest of your family? That should be something to look forward to.
