It keeps the guests in the park longer.
-
The floorless trains, from what I can gather, do not swing nearly as much as the Arrow trains.
-
The logos end up being removed around this point every season. Nothing to be worried about.
-
Have you taken the time to measure the g's on each ride at Kings Island?
-
A: Arrow Dynamics was bought out from bankruptcy by S&S Power, and the new company kept producing a replacement line for all Arrow models (likely for the revenue it brings them.)B: That Vekoma talk is nonsense. They're an active company in the market and have manufactured many coasters for parks within the last two years. My main point is this: Vekoma nor Arrow have disappeared by any means.

Just as good the second time around. Thanks...again! -
Just because it's a crowd favorite doesn't mean it's economical, efficient, and a good overall investment.
-
My favorite Haunt that's open for a month is better than one flat ride open throughout the whole season.
-
How dare you say that. Madame Fatale's is the best thing Haunt has (as of last season.)

Move One Ride from Anywhere in the Country to KI

Coney Island, Cincinnati? -
Looks like a line to show topographic features of the land.

Its placement on the peninsula doesn't change the way people think about the park. It's going to stick out wherever it may have been placed. Gatekeeper is right on top of the front gate, and that's what people will remember because it's unique. There's nothing unique about where Dragster sits.

Great article, thanks for posting. The refurbishment of the log flume is really eye opening and I think it sets the tone for what Matt Ouimet will want for his parks in the future. Perhaps, and this is wishful thinking here, Boo Blasters will get a high-quality renovation soon.

I haven't ridden maXair, but I hate Delirium. I suppose neither is my answer.
-
There is a measuring station near the Fast Lane booth at the front gate.
-
Which launch are you talking about?
-
Wait a minute, how is WindSeeker not a "true" flat ride? Last I checked it had all the qualities that fit the definition of "flat ride."
-
That doesn't mean work can't be done later throughout the year within those areas.
-
What is currently seen at the park is undoubtedly just the beginning of the project. I'm sure there's more to come.
-
He's not saying that. All he's saying is he doesn't want to filter through meaningless posts, as there are enough in this thread already.
-
It seems the general consensus is that you either love it or you hate it; there is no in between. I haven't ridden so I can't offer my opinion on the ride.
-
Not all wing coasters have a loop in place of the first drop. Wild Eagle immediately comes to mind as an example.
-
How is it different? It's the same technology, and Premier figured it out 20 years ago. Intamin's a little late to the party, bro.
-
Flight of Fear and Backlot Stunt Coaster don't have a lot of downtime, yet look at their launch mechanism.

1. Link please.2. Was this induced by the ride or did the child have a preexisting condition? 3. When was this?
