Discussing Land and Space in and around Vortex
Who? Cedar Fair? I doubt they'll go out of business. I've heard worst case scenario, Cedar Fair will just make a lot of budget cuts like they did this year for next year as well. We might just have a year one year where the parks just say nothing is coming, but enjoy your day here.

Could KI be getting a Floorless next?
Well if they ever wanted to replace Vortex in a similar way that it was designed or layed out, a B&M floorless is the answer. Now Kings Island is more of a family park compared to Cedar Point. I'm happy Orion was installed, but I imagine they're going to build something the whole family will enjoy. If they decide to build an RMC ground up, they could make that less intense than Steel Vengeance at Cedar Point, so the whole family will enjoy it. I just want them to throw a loop in there to pay tribute to Vortex. If they go with a B&M floorless, they have a better chance of going back to back with the loops to give it that look that area of the park just lost.

^ I hope you're right about that. I feel like they're using their rainy day funds at the moment.

Dollar Days Returning to Kings Island
When Kings Island does open for the season, they should have Dollar days a lot to get people to come into the park. Maybe they could do front of the line passes for a dollar.

Could KI be getting a Floorless next?
I respect you guys opinion here guys, but I think a Floorless roller coaster similar to Dominator at Kings Dominion would be ideal for families and thrill seekers. Don't get me wrong, I would love to see a ground up rmc come to Kings Island as well. I also think that would be the most thrilling option for Kings Island. However, If they wanted to introduce a roller coaster family oriented, it would probably be a B&M Floorless. Here's how I see my wishlist for the former Vortex area. 1. B&M Floorless 2. Ground up rmc wooden roller coaster 3. Mack launch roller coaster. The other roller coasters that have been mentioned, I don't know too much about.

Coasterstock 2020 Cancelled
^ I hope not. I hope it's about the same time period as this year. I want a chance to redeem myself for not having the money right away this year.

Coasterstock 2020 Cancelled
Not that I was part of the event this year anyway due to it selling out in one day, but I was still planning on being there with my friends. I would have just did my own thing while they did the tours and lunch/dinner. But this is still a huge blow for 2020 and I'm still saddened by this news.

Kings Island and Cedar Point opening Mid-May
^ Sounds like they have plenty of time then to repay the loans. So in worse case scenario, If they don't open this year they're still in good shape because they don't have to repay those loans until 2025. Sounds like a safety net for the parks.

Kings Island and Cedar Point opening Mid-May
^ Ohh no! That means Cedar Fair will lose their parks?

What's the collateral part mean? Is that for Insurance purposes?

Kings Island and Cedar Point opening Mid-May
Let's say the park doesn't open till July or August. Would that put Cedar Fair in the negative? I don't want to see Cedar Fair go bankrupt or go into debt.

What comes after the 2020 Giga?
I could see Kings Island putting a ride like this in the near future. I could also see the park getting a traditional ferris wheel. With the Coronavirus messing up things, I could see a new roller coaster come in 2023. If not for the coronavirus, I was saying 2022. My gut tells me they don't want to let the former Vortex land sit vacant too long.

What KI Rides Have You Never Been On?
Since I'm 35 years of age now, does the Planet Snoopy area count? It was Hanna-Barbara land back when I was 5 years old. I don't remember the rides too much, but my parents probably have vintage photos of me riding those rides.

So where does Orion rank as far as just North America? I'm talking tallest in North America too.

Dorney Park Getting a Gravity Group Shuttle Coaster in 2021
Would this coaster be the first gravity group roller coaster in the Cedar Fair chain?

WDW Hollywood Studios
The last time I went to Disney World(2012), I spent a lot of time in the Hollywood studios area. I'm sure a lot has changed since I went there last. One thing I hope doesn't leave is the Rock-n-rollercoaster featuring Aerosmith. Does anyone know how much longer the licensing on that will run till? If they change it, I wonder what they would theme it too? I would theme it to another band since they have the guitar set up on the building. Maybe they could honor queen for example.

All 2020 KI Season Passes will be valid for 2021 Season
Great! No fun for us this year. Thanks a lot Mike Dewine!(Sarcasm)

All 2020 KI Season Passes will be valid for 2021 Season
So with everyone assuming the park won't open this year, does that mean my opinion doesn't matter? I don't want to sound like an idiot for thinking the park will open sometime this year, but everyone on here says it won't open.

Could KI be getting a Floorless next?
^ No you're not being nostalgic. I feel the same way about re-creating a modern version of Vortex as a B&M Floorless. How would you feel about the new vest restraints If they did re-create the layout as a Floorless? I would be all for it. Yeah Kings Island already has two launched roller coasters in the park. They could never put another launch roller coaster in there in the next 10 years, and people would still be happy with Kings Island line-up. I'm sure Kings Island will get a Dive, but yeah I agree about putting it where Vortex was. It would just seem out of place there.

Kings Island Opening Day April 11th, 2020
#1. I'm looking forward to riding The Beast! 2. Riding Orion and seeing how much of a punch it packs. From the video, it looks like it has a lot of speed and airtime. 3. Seeing how the park looks without Vortex in the skyline. That will be a huge change of scenery for me. No pun intended there.

Colossos at Kings Island (?)
That looks sick! And I mean that as in wicked fun! Cedar Fair could always try something like an Intamin pre-fabricated ride at Michigan's Adventure and see how well it does there. I've heard Wolverine there isn't that good. Maybe they could replace it with an Intamin pre-fabricated woody. Just a thought.
