This has been in my head for days: IF Kings Island got their giga before Carowinds, would it have been bigger? Would we have gotten a coaster more similar to Fury 325 while Carowinds got something more like Orion? Would we have gotten the Orion style design regardless? Would we have gotten a completely different type of giga? I'm excited for the ride, I just want to hear some thoughts

Come again? People love inversions.
-
If a dive replaces Vortex it would have a max of 4 inversions, unless CF intends to break Yukon Striker's record. We lost 11 inversions towards the end of the 2010s with the removal of Firehawk and Vortex so I'd like to see thoee numbers go back up. Valravn cost around 23 million if that gives you some perspective.

Anything that matches Vortex's height requirement is a step in the right direction. A spinning coaster would be fun but Macks are expensive as heck. I still think a Dive would look weird next to Diamondback; I would still want a Dive in Action Zone though.

We're in a weird spot. Do we innovative and take risks or play it safe? We've been in the "Play it safe" bus for years following the additon of SOB. Cedar Fair has added 3 B&Ms and 1 GCI- all safe moves. I feel like their choices to not bring a lot of innovative rides to KI in favor of safer ones is to give the park good PR. If we got a T-Rex I would be a little suprised because that would but is back in the innovative/high risk category. Don't get me wrong I would love a single rail, high capacity, coaster; but with new models comes problems. Would it be safer to get rides like a B&M Dive or possibly a Floorless? Those coasters are certainly GP eaters and wouldn't upset them in the least. Enthusiasts would be disappointed that we would be getting our 4th B&M but at the end of the day, the GP are the main targets.

Why not fix both AZ and OF?

Will monitor for future development. Personally I'd love a smaller scale, lower budget "Tower of Terror" themed to a mine shaft

Not sure if you're breaking the 11th commandment or not

No clue, I'll look into it -
Where would those slides be relocated and what would replace them? Also with Congo Falls, are shoes, pants, etc required to ride? If so it would be a hassle to walk back to your locker or area your stuff is, get your clothes, and wait in line.

I think there needs to be a WOW factor like a water coaster or something. Or this

How much of DA's land was used for Orion? Rough guesses?
-
Would an S&S 4D Free Spin work at KI? I feel like it would work if we got it with a flat like we did back in '99 with Faceoff and Drop Zone.

What changes do you guys expect to see in A72 besides what's already been hinted?

Something I want Cedar Fair to start doing is looking at some of their parks and seeing if they can have railroads. Kings Dominion and Carowinds lost theirs and I honestly think its feasible to bring at least one of them back, if not both, in some capacity. -
Seeing this gives me hope https://twitter.com/BuschGardens/status/1222265600015323141?s=20

I personally don't see us getting anything ground breaking like Pantheon, Steel Vengeance, etc. We used to break height, length, and speed barriers back in the day but the only record breaker we've gotten recently has been Banshee. Orion makes it into the top 10 tallest drops but I don't think people would call it a record breaking coaster.
